Wonderful hotel service second to none, great rooms with amazing air conditioning that you cannot do without in the temperatures there. Nice roof top swimming pool, lovely food great staff. As far as the hotel goes 10/10 you cannot fault it, it was a wonderful experience we also took our 20month old son and even though there were no other children in the hotel he was treated really well with staff going out of their way to provide anything we requested.
Even though room are well equipped they do not have kettles or irons which means no tea and no bottles for my son, we did manage to get the staff to provide a kettle eventually but we had to go out and purchase an iron which I may add is not an easy feat in Dubai it cant be an item they buy regularly. As for Dubai it was a great experience with loads to take in like souks (markets) for gold clothes etc unfortunately we only went for 5 days so after a day at the souks one in the desert one exploring the sights and a quiet day by the pool we didn’t have any time to go to the beach but it didn’t seem the sort of holiday to go to the beach.
Dubai is very built up city with lots of building work and does not seem very relaxing as there is always something to see which has to be traveled to on the endless motorways there. It is amazing with deserts, ski slopes (yes really) and amazing architecture but definitely not a beach holiday more shopping and tours.

Very impressive hotel in Dubai city centre. The hotel is located a little way from the souks but taxi’s are very cheap and stop outside the hotel. The rooms are very spacious all with separate shower’s and dressing rooms.
The restaurants and bars in this hotel are excellent and are very good value for money, try the Italian. The rooftop pool does need a makeover but is o.k for city centre hotel.

Dubai must be seen to be believed! it is in the middle of the desert but has all the amenities and attraction s needed for a very good holiday. The malls are huge and diverse. The souks are a magnificent diversity of colour and smells.
The huge and audacious construction projects are a sight to behold.
The J. W. Marriott Hotel has 11 restaurants and is very family friendly. It has a rooftop swimming pool and squash courts on the 5th floor!
It is huge and very comfortable. Quite close to the airport and very convenient for shopping especially for City centre malls like the designer goods only Burjuman Mall.
We were a party of nine with six children and three adults in the party but we all had a nice, memorable holiday.
Drawback is that it can get extremely hot in the summer months so it’s best to go around December to March.
You can still see the entire premiership matches live in the myriad of sports bars all over Dubai, just ask!
