Stayed at the Burj al Arab for 1 night after staying at Mina a Salaam. This hotel can only be described as 'sheer opulence'! very classy. 24 hr butler service, DVD on demand, plasma TV, Fresh fruit, floor to ceiling windows, beautiful view.

The Burj is renowned for being the only 7 star hotel in the world. However, upon entering its does appear very tasteless and over the top. If you like lots of gold leaf, and bright colours then this will be perfect for you.

Superb really. Very expensive but well worth it. we had top floor penthouse and paid £5500 for three nights each.

All suite hotel that simply is the best. We also stayed at the Jumeirah Beach hotel and the Bab Al shams next door and this towers above them in every sense.
