Once in a lifetime stay at the wolrd's most luxourious hotel. Amazing suite, butler service, restaurants, shopping, beach, pool and surroundings. Fully recommend to do it at least once in a lifetime. Beats any top 5 star hotel in the world. Sheer opulence and a real treat if you like to pamper yourself. Also Hermes products to take away......just do it even if it is for just one night!!!!!!!!!!!

Dec 2007, Mr A Kumar

Stayed at the Burj al Arab for 1 night after staying at Mina a Salaam. This hotel can only be described as 'sheer opulence'! very classy. 24 hr butler service, DVD on demand, plasma TV, Fresh fruit, floor to ceiling windows, beautiful view.
Booked as room only and got the rate of Aed2400 approx GBP360 for 3 persons, fab deal, can’t go wrong, booked directly with Jumeirah international on their free phone number and held booking on credit card, then paid in dirham’s when checking out, so no surcharges and currency rate was good at the time.
Assawan spa was really nice located on the 17th floor and the 'welcome' dates that were offered were the most tastiest dates I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a fair few! if you’re staying at the Burj...then enjoy, absolute luxury!

Aug 2007, Mrs J Scott

The Burj is renowned for being the only 7 star hotel in the world. However, upon entering its does appear very tasteless and over the top. If you like lots of gold leaf, and bright colours then this will be perfect for you.
From entering the hotel, it does feel like you are never left alone, you have cloths to wipe your hands on entering, personal check-in in your suite, that is when you eventually get there. You are escorted to your rooms, check in can take an hour as they do not rush, showing you the room and explaining everything.
Take plenty of small notes for tipping, everyone from bell boy to butler expect it, never mind the fact you could be paying anywhere up to £1200 per night, they still want there portion.
It is certainly an experience staying at the Burj, and I am pleased I did it, but I would not rush back to stay again, not solely due to cost, but it felt like we were never left alone, the butler ringing the door bell constantly with a drink of sparkling juice or with some chocolates or, with requests of running a bath for us.
If you like to be fussed over constantly go for it, if you like the best but with staff in the background, go and experience it, but dont stay too long, it will annoy you.

It was alright!
Superb really. Very expensive but well worth it. we had top floor penthouse and paid £5500 for three nights each.
We had our own butler and private rolls royce chaffeur to take us anywhere we liked.
The Prince even visited us in the penthouse as he wanted to stay there also.

Feb 2006, Miss K

On the drive up to the man made island where the Burj Al Arab is situated the size and elegance of the hotel truly takes your breath away. The Burj Al Arab which translates to The Arabian Tower in Arabic, is the only seven star hotel in the world and does it deserve its status? Yes it most certainly does.
On arrival in our Rolls Royce from the airport there was at least ten staff in the lobby waiting to greet us. The red, gold and blue interior and the fountains is like nothing I've ever seen before.
The hotel is on 27 double floors, the reason for this is they don't have rooms just suites over two floors. You have you own Guest Relations desk right outside your room plus your own butler to cater for your every need.
There are three restaurants in the Hotel. One of the Restaurants you go in a virtual submarine to get to and when you get the your are surrounded by marine life. Another is the Sky View Bar which if you look on a photo is the bit that hangs off the top, the views from here are amazing and are well worth the wait.
By staying in the Burj Al Arab you get to use all of their Sister hotels facilities The Jumeriah Beach.
The concierge will do anything to attend to any of your need if it be to book dinner of go on an excursion they know the best of the best.
This hotel is magical and if you can afford to go there then definitely do. For us it was once in a lifetime thing to start but now we are saving to go back again. Even if you are in Dubai and are not going to stay at The Burj you can arrange to have a tour of the hotel at a cost of about £25.

This place is an absolute gem. I could not believe the outrageously designed building in the shape of a sail and the decor and service more than lived up to its 7 star status.
It is a bit on the pricey side but still an absolute must, I highly recommend it. The city on the hole is also fantastic and the sight of the skyscrapers towering over the city is quite overwhelming.
he weather is hot but bearable all year round and I have to say I honestly don’t remember seeing a cloud in the sky. For all you beach going folk I recommend the Jumeriah beach development as it is literally a stones throw from the crystal clear sea and the golden sands surely that eould ad that little extra WOW factor to your holiday... book now and enjoy.

May 2005, Mr Q Kazmi

All suite hotel that simply is the best. We also stayed at the Jumeirah Beach hotel and the Bab Al shams next door and this towers above them in every sense.
I mean you get your own butler, do I need to say anymore.

The suite was split over two floors and it was bigger than my house.
I don’t need to mention how nice the rooms were.
The views from the restaurant at the top is amazing, as is the view from the indoor swimming pool, there is nothing like it.
The only small down side is that the beach didn’t link to the hotel but was across the bridge.
Oh and the free transfers by Rolls Royce weren’t bad either
Expensive but worth it.

What can I say about this hotel but...

Feb 2005, Mr O Mauthoor

What can I say about this hotel but WOW. It’s the only 7* hotel in the world and once you have stayed there you will know why. We decided to book this for 4 nights following a week in the Maldives and thought that if we didn’t like Dubai, at least we’ve stayed in the best hotel there.
You will be amazed at the size of the suites. They are duplex suites with a hallway, sweeping staircase, office area, 4 person dining table and huge TV with lounge area including chaise lounge. We were about in the middle of the hotel (12th floor) and the views were fabulous. The upstairs has a large twin sink bathroom with 2 person shower, Jacuzzi, seating, toilet and bidet. There is a dressing area and a large bedroom with large 3 piece suite sitting area also. The curtains are remote control and all lights around the suite have 3 or 4 stage dimmers to them.
We were on a B&B basis and you certainly do not need to eat a lunch following the extremely large choice buffet breakfast offered. This included fillet steak etc.
The good thing about this hotel is that you can use the amenities of all the other hotels in the chain and you will get taken to the local ones by a golf buggy, which is extremely useful as it’s far too hot to walk around in the 42 degree heat. Staying at the Burj, you have “access all areas” and just need to give your suite number to the gate security people.
The restaurants are extremely expensive but well worth it especially Al Maraha then one underneath the hotel - you are looking at £90 a head.
The service is impeccable and because it was our wedding anniversary while we were there, we had a bouquet of roses, a chocolate cake and an invitation to the manager’s cocktail party.
Overall, an experience to be had at least once in your lifetime. It’s certainly somewhere we are going to go to again.
