This hotel is no longer a Best Western. It is on a quiet narrow side street within a very short stroll of the Royal Palace, also just round the corner from the main shopping street.
This is very well placed for everything in Madrid, 2 minutes walk to the bus stop where you could catch the open top Tour Bus. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.
Quiet hotel, staff helpful, rooms are clean and very nice, good bathroom, air conditioning. Breakfast was OK, continental, selection of cheeses, meats, pastries, cereals, toast and preserves. Fruit juices, yoghurts and fruit, as well as tea and coffee. Our breakfast came included, if it didn't don't think its worth paying extra for, could easily get a nice breakfast at a cafe at the end of the street, which we did on the last morning there.
All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Madrid.
