The hotel entrance was nice and welcoming, however the room was awful, it was clean but glad we only had to sleep there, the shower was awful, nothing like the pictures on their website. We booked half board, and ate out most days, all the food was processed, and the cutlery wasn't the cleanest. I have never been served watery, slimey vegtables and chicken ever. Not nice at all!

Stayed for one week in September, paid a lot of money to stay in the Mimosa Hotel and was very dissapointed. The hotel itself was lovely but our room was situated at the back block and was terrible ! moved once as the first room given was totaly unaceptable. Needs a refurbishment urgently !! we were half board and food was ok couldnt complain really. Location was excellent. Maids were in cleaning every day and were lovely too. Just feel that we paid a hell of a lot of money for nothing. I would go back to Sidari any day as we had a fantastic time but would choose another hotel.

****WARNING DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL****
I had a holiday booked for a week half board, dont bother the food is awful, soggy chips, wet slimy veg and its supposed to be ala carte, thats the biggest joke Iv heard all year!!!!
The place stinks of sewage every morning, so vile you are nearly sick!! The Hotel staff are rude, the receptionist is arrogant and does not want to lift a finger up at all to help you!!
EURO'S WERE STOLEN out of my room by the cleaner, when the police were called we established that the cleaner was in the room at the right time, moved my bag with Euro's in but because she can swear on a bible did not take them and can sue me for complaining about it!!!
The hotel manager was about 12 years old, was not at all understanding and took no responsibility for the missing Euro's
This place is awful, I can not put it into words how bad this place really is and to try to save the rest of the poor victims who think they are in for a great holiday PLEASE PLEASE do not ignore this warning about this hotel, do yourself a favour, BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

Aug 2008, Mr D Maher

Not long been back from The Hotel Mimosa Sidari Corfu . Spent 11 nights half board. Booked the holiday and then read the reviews and was Horrified at what I read. But I was totaly relieved when I got there.
The Room was basic but clean with daily maid service. Food was excellent.
Breakfast was coffee juice ana selection of cerials toast and jams . Beans on toast Scrambled egg also available . Full English was available at a small cost.
Evening meal was a selection of 4 starters and 4 main courses with a desert every night.
I am a fussy eater but was not one bit dissapointed .
Finally I would like to say I would go back to the same hotel and would recomend it as a better than value for money hotel.

This hotel's previous reviews...

Jul 2008, Ms O O''Donnell

This hotel's previous reviews concerned me but I was very very impressed with the Mimosa.
For what you pay this is a great hotel.
Clean rooms - although the air-con didn't work.
Towels changed every other day.
Breakfast was OK-ish but the extra that you pay for the full english or bacon sarnie is well worth it.
Dinner was very good, great choice (watch out for the tzatsiki (sp?) it is very garlicky) but the food was good and the portions acceptable.
The hotel is well situated at the end of the Sidari strip and is central for all goings on in Sidari.
This hotel is very good value, pool is good, bar is nice, entertainment is fun and I can recommend this hotel !!!

Jul 2008, Mr R Copeland

Just returned from hotel mimosa, 2nd time been there and had a wonderful time again. We were accomodated in the front block which has been refurbished since our last visit and is much nicer. The breakfast isnt great, but at night there is always a good choice for everyone. For a good breakfast i would recommend the smugglers inn. For a nice evening meal i would recommend BED BAR. The staff in the hotel were fantastic, from George in the restaurant, Yannis in the bar, and Catherine and Karen in the reception, they couldnt have been more friendly and helpful. Also our rep from ThomasCook Stuart who was at the hotel almost daily. If travelling in the summer months i would strongly recommend the air conditioning as the heat can be quite uncomfortable at night.

Jul 2008, Miss A McGurn

Just returned from a week in MIMOSA hotel in sidari !
Hotel in general was nice! Cleaned daily and fresh towels etc ! Rooms were very nice, we were in the main buliding and reception and areas very clean !
Poor thing about the hotel was the food :( Breakfast was very poor, fruit (not always fresh) cereal or toast and beans/scrambled egg! Dinners were not always up to scratch and dont offer much for kids ! Thats the only down fall i have about the hotel !
Location wise is FABULOUS ! Right central for everything ! Only 2 minutes walk to the clubs etc !
Our room was lovely and we had a beautiful sea view, only 1 min across the road to the beach !
I would reccomend pancho villas mexican at night as its very resonable price and lovely food ! And san remo for there kebabs 24/7 YUMMY !!!
Overall really enjoyed sidari and defo will go back :)

Jul 2008, Miss KM Watts

After reading the ratings about the hotel i wanted to put my views across.
My partner and i have just got back from our holiday and we couldn't say a bad word about it. Yes the rooms are basic, but you get what you pay for and its only there to sleep and wash anyway.
All the staff are very friendly and are there when you need them, especially our rep Jason, who was a great laugh ( thanks for the pub crawl!!!, and your wonderful singing at karoke).
Food was faultless, although a set menu, there is enough to choose from.
Rooms were cleaned and bed made daily, shower room small but adequate.
Pool areas were clean, tidy and welcoming and sunbeds always available any time of day, although area busy.
Hotel across the road from beach and in the middle of everything, with plenty of bars, shops and resturants a stones throw away. If you are looking for a nice lunchtime snack i would highly recommend San Remos, very friendly staff and great food.
I would also recommend Aqualand water park although an hours drive, well worth it.
