Hotel Husa Wilson

We were given a room at the 4th floor. The room is modern, bright and clean. The hotel is of good value with free Wi-fi. The location is 15min from the nearest subway but there is a bus stop in front and behind the hotel. The bus service is efficent in Barcelona so we don't have any problem travel around the city.

Modern, clean and well situated hotel. Staff were really friendly and spoke good english. Our room was on the first floor and was quite noisy when forst thing in the morning with people going to the breakfast room, and the noise of staff setting it up in the morning. Would definately recommend! Excellent hotel!!!

Having read the reviews here, I was expecting a bit more from this hotel, given the photos especially. When I arrived and came to my room, I was very much disappointed as it was really tiny with no bath but just shower and with a view on another building decorated with an ugly insect (I guess it's a locust). So during the stay I couldn't open the curtains as lots of people work in their offices in the building infront and the locust is really disgusting. The hotel is located in the middle of the Diagonal avenue that runs across Barcelona. A metro station is about 15 minutes away. Barcelona is a large city so all attractions are spread apart. Just the tour on the double-decker takes 5 -6 hours in a busy day, so by a two day ticket if you have the time. A touristic bus stops 5-10 minutes away from the hotel. Stylishly decorated, with friendly helpful staff and only about 10 minutes walk from Casa Batllo. It's also close to the tourist bus stops too. The rooms are clean, compact and fully air conditioned.

We were in Barcelona the end of May and we booked this hotel partially based on this site's reviews. And we were not disappointed at all. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are nice, some smaller then others, some with a nice view of the Diagonal Avenue, some with balcony, but all of them are ok if you are not too picky. Just stayed at The Wilson for 4 nights and really loved it.The Wilson is really one of those rare properties that really does live up to its marketing. The rooms really were quite slick, nice design and fittings, comfy bed. Its not a huge impersonal chain and is well maintained, clean, stylish and understated. Hard to believe its only 3 stars. This is truely one of the beter hotels I have stayed in. We had a suite, which was just amazing. It's a bit of a walk from the Plaza Cataluya, but a very enjoyable walk indeed!

Recently refurbished, in the area of Francesc Macia Square, Eixample. Few rooms Freat location Good breakfast Rooms absolutly perfect and actually great rates due to re-opening. Free WIFI + Computer!!! Only: no international TV channels

Thought this was a brilliant hotel. Very reasonably priced. Staff were so pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Rooms were kept really well. I'd definately stay here again. Thanks a million for a brilliant stay.
