This was our first visit to The Nafsica it certainly wont be our last! The perfect holiday for families, couples and a safe place for anyone travelling alone. The food was magnificent!
The staff were the friendliest group I have ever met, nothing was to much trouble. The rooms were spacious , we were a bit concerned before arriving as we were sharing a room with our 14 year old Daughter, but there was plenty of space, with a wonderful view from our balcony of The Ionian Sea no more than 50 metres from the Hotel.
The resort of San Stephanos was perfect for a relaxing holiday, if you are looking for non stop action don’t come here but if like us you prefer a civilised peaceful place this is the holiday for you! Yammas!

Hotel entrance and reception looked nice, that’s the positives out of the way ! The rest of the hotel was simply 'still developing'. The hotel wasn’t fully staffed, therefore the existing staff had to job share. Last minute repairs were being finished off and general maintenance was lacking. The rooms were extremely basic and cramped, the bathroom had no shower and the bath itself was miniature. Although the rooms were dated they were clean. Which brings me onto the subject of room service, the cleaners seemed to have some sort of internal competition as to who could make the most noise, continuously slamming the ill-fitted doors. The food was served luke warm / cold as it was prepared in a neighbouring hotel and transferred over. No water served at breakfast. To summarise the hotel did not seem ready to be open and apparently catered best for only German visitors. Very disappointed.

Had a fantastic time at the Nafsika. Although it is only classed as 2* it was brilliant. The food was authentic Greek with spontaneous dancing thrown in. The pool was warm and overlooked the cocktail bar but the beach was literally moments away.
The beach never got overcrowded and was lovely. The outdoor restaurant overlooked the beach. Rooms had optional air conditioning. The staff were all friendly - a family run business, hotel in Thomson Small and Friendly brochure. The town of San Stefanos was medium size and not at all rowdy.
There were plenty of shops and bars nearby and nearby villages and other small towns you could also walk to if you felt energetic! There was a bus service into Sidari if you wanted a livelier atmosphere but Sidari was a bit too kiss me quick for my liking!! Highly recommended.
