The hotel was well situated although it was it was next door to a "peep show" and there were prostitutes outside of an evening. These were moved on by the hotel staff. The hotel is currently a 2 star rating but it is undergoing refurbishment to upgrade it to a 3 star. You get what you pay for.
The rooms are a reasonable size but it is very cold and the heating did not work. all of the rooms have marble floors and slippers are a must. The daytime receptionists are fluent in English but not of an evening so advise getting all questions you may have answered in the day.
The Port Olympic is a must lots of restaurants with great seafood and all of the nightclub/bars and casinos are open until 6am.
It should cost approx 7 euros from the hotel in a taxi, beware of getting ripped off by the drivers.
YOU MUST BE AWARE OF THE PICKPOCKETS the locals will also remind you of this. They are very clever and can even get into zipped pockets without you knowing.
