Went there in June 11. For 11 nights gr8 holiday
For the price b&b. Sun came on to the pool at midday but was still lovely a bit cold before then we all got in
Drinks at bar were a bit pricey. The two reps Brian and Nina were fab and great with the kids and adults room was ok u pay for what u get depends how picky u r
Overall a great holiday would go again
Oh yea food was. As expected. Quite nice .
- Advice: Go all-inclusive this will save u money at the bar

I went here with 7 mates, we're all around 18, so this review may only apply if you're looking for a party holiday. Anyway, this hotel is about a 15minute walk from the centre of Salou where you'll find all the clubs. You'll come to appreciate the distance as its so peaceful around the hotel. The rooms are cool and much better than expected, nothing too fancy about the pool or stuff in the hotel, but it does the job! The only advice i can give is be wary of the food in the shops nearby, we noticed its often questionable haha. There's so much good clubs, bars and beaches in Salou and Cap Salou, booze is unbelievably cheap, but eating out can be a bit costly. I'd highly recomend going here, you'll have such a hoot!
- Advice: Use the shop in Salou for booze. Its called like No1 Alcohol or something, very near to Burger King! Its like £2.80 for a bottle of vodka!

Stayed here for 11 nights, clean apartment towels changed daily & beds made daily. Staff was very helpful & polite. Entertainers was great - just shame no day time entertainment for the rainy days :( Pool was freezing & I didn't use it through the whole stay but if pool was heated I would definatley stayed here again. Am really fussy on where I stay its ok if you want a cheap place but the price of food & trips are so expensive!! (went to route 66 mostly for food its amazing :))
Stayed when they first opened & wasn't much on til 3 days before we left as hardly anyone was staying.

just returned from a week in sunclub apts. firstly the pool was very cold indeed, kids would not go back into the pool for the last 3 days because of the cold pool. we had to pay for your kettle, if you needed your towels changed it cost 15.euro., the staff was very unpleasant, a smile an odd time. food very expensive and not great. as a person i am easily pleased but on this occasion i dont think i would go back. the entertainers was great.oh and by the way no lifeguard only one day. very dissapointed.

we visited sunclub salou as a family of 6, the hotel is pratical and met our needs, friendly staff, room cleaned daily, however things were missed.
pool was cold but the kids seemed to manage it.
salou is expensive for food and drink, we stayed all inclusive on drinks and ice cream would recommend booking with agent,as more expensive if booked through hotel. shop at supermarket and make some meals to keep cost down on food.
enertainment was ok, on until 12,if staying two weeks it gets repetative, but the staff do try hard to entertain.
we found out to late that u can use other hotels for evening entertainment and pools.
The locals in some stores are pushy,so make sure u haggle they will drop the price they want the sale!! lovely place to visit.
- Advice: shop at michaelangelos supermarket cheaper on food and alcohol

Having read all the reviews before we left felt very concerned. We were returning to Salou after 20 years with our 2 adult children as this was a place we used to go to with my parents, so this was a trip down memory lane. When we arrived we were greeted very professionaly and allowed to go to our room early. The apartment was bright, clean and had plenty of room for the 4 of us. The kitchen had a fridge, microwave and 2 ring hob. We did take our own travel kettle as the hob is slow (no problem) plenty of crockery and cutlery. The bathroom was big and very clean and we had plenty of towels, if you needed more the maid was more than happy to give them to you. bins emptied every day and linen changed in the middle of the week. Pool cold but sun came round in the afternoon. Went in every day, not bad for Oct. Entertainment not too good, but it's what you make it. Rep friendly and helpful. A little expensive in the bar and shop. All round the 4 of us had a very good time and would go back again. Very good value for money.

Having read some reviews of the Sun Club apartments before we went on holiday we started to wonder if we had made a mistake. Reports that suggested it wasn't cleaned regularly or no maid service. I can assure people that having stayed in the hotel the last two weeks in August i found it fantastic. Rooms cleaned and towels changed each day except Sunday, great entertainment and reps who would go out of their way for you made it a great stay. On a down side there is no iron in the room as suggested on the website but one is available at reception, and it can be a little costly though the nearby michael angelo's supermarket makes up for that. Overall a great place to stay.

just got back from sun club had a good time but had to go out for good entertainment it was rubbish at sun club bingo was a rip off. beds were only maid twice and one was once when my granddaughter was sick. if you need to go shopping go to the supermarket up the road the one at the apartment was expensive.if you have got children dont go there the park they have got there is just got a play house in it.and there is no where for them to run around at night.there is a little beach with steps and further up the road there is a bigger beach.salou is about 5minute bus ride away but the bus drivers charge different prices .the pool area was just swept the 2 weeks we were there it was never hosed down like the hotel next door. wouldnt go there again

I went to sunclub several times for entertainment, and to see friends there. People moan about the entertainment but what they dont realise is that nina and brian - entertainment reps - can only do what they can. Its down to resources that are made available to them and them following orders that the owner has given. If owners are not willing to spend too much you cant blame the reps. I think they both fantastic people, and this is the first year they were put together as a team, and they really pulled it off. Well done nina and brian!! i hope the owner considers suggestions that these two put forward for next year. Its a case of 'dont shoot the messenger' they can only work with what resources they have available. Bar staff were very friendly, especially shani! shes lovely. Reception staff were always very very polite to me and always found time for a smile and a chat. If people make an affort they will get a better effort back, instead of expecting red carpet treatment.it dont cost to smile and be polite.i actually saw several people with faces almost touching the floor cause it was too hot! if it was raining they probably would have had something to moan about but the hotel dont control the weather! nina and brian ------- fantastic job you two are doing. Please please keep it up and wish you both well for next year.
