This was our second visit here. The apartments are spotless, the staff really helpful.
I left my jacket in a bar in Salou and the receptionist new someone who worked in the bar and she rang him at home and my jacket was returned that evening. We spent the happy hour in the bar then caught the bus into Salou every evening as Cap Salou was very quiet. The bus service is excellent.
We ate at the apartments a few times and the food was good, entertainment was a bit repetitive but acceptable. Took the bus into Barcelona, no need to book trips it's so easy and costs less. We would recommend.

My partner and I stayed here for a short break in April 2006. The apartments were great, well furnished with a separate room for our son. He was 3 years old and loved it here. The pool area was lovely.
The beach is about 5 minutes downhill from here. The staff in the suncub were fantastic - never had any problems and they were all very nice to the kids. The entertainers - Rabbit and Hazel were lovely. There is a shop on site which is very well priced and there is a separate room for adults and all the smokers go here.
The food in the bar was delicious too and fairly priced. Entertainment stopped at 12 but after such a busy day we were all glad to get to bed. The bus stop is right outside with regular buses to Salou and La Pineda etc and costs only about 2 euros each. These resorts are much more livelier than Cap Salou.
I would definitely go back here and would recommend it for families with young kids.

Standard of apartments was superb but resort was way too quiet. With 3 kids aged 5,8 and 16 the location did not suit everyone.
I agree with the previous review as when entertainment at bar had finished that was it you couldn’t even have people back to your room but security guards were at your door. We were in a party of 22 which was mostly children we were not looking to party all night or have loud music playing all night but even a few of us getting together in each others room at end of night was a big problem as we were told off by security guards.
These apartments are great if you have small children and want to be in bed by midnight and don’t want to move outside the apartments (which you wouldn’t need to as entertainment is superb for families with young children). If you want to go into Salou centre at night I would advise a taxi as its too far to attempt to walk. Cap Salou is also a lot more expensive than Salou centre (which we had been to the previous year and would return as we loved it).
All in all I would give the apartments a rating of 8 for high standard but 4 for location. But Salou is marvellous for families.

Been away to Majorca, several years in a row. Wanted to try something different for 2004 (bad mistake). Not for a lively holiday, too strict. The bar closed to early and ushered off to bed, by baton wielding security guards.
You were left waiting a long time for food and drinks at the bar. There was nowhere outside the hotel if you wanted to continue to enjoy yourself. Tiled step was not repaired. So it was blocked off, we had to walk the long way around the pool. There was also broken glass at the end of the pool.
We couldn’t enjoy ourselves in our own apartments, without the threat of been evicted. Wouldn’t go back even if i got offered a free holiday. Salou is not a bad place if you want to enjoy yourself, but stay AWAY from the Sunclub apartments.

This was a last minute, destination decided on arrival deal so we didn’t really know what to expect, but we really landed on our feet!
The Sun Club is marvellous, we felt like celebrities! It is very clean and immaculate, with a lovely pool and our apartment was very impressive.
I miss the balcony most - we could see the ocean and the magnificent hills of Andorra from it.
The nearest beach is tiny, but we walked a little further to a larger one. There are many buses to Salou centre for shopping, but there are plenty of shops and restaurants in Cap Salou also.
We went to Pancho’s, a mini golf which is great fun, and Porta Ventura, the theme park which has the biggest rollercoaster in Europe! It was a great holiday, can’t wait to go again maybe!

They only changed our towels once in one week and had a habit of hanging dirty towels back up after we had thrown them on the floor for changing. Also changed bedding once in one week.
The main problem with the sun club seemed to be under staffed. Salou itself is a great resort for children. The beaches or great with plenty of play parks and Port Aventura theme park is a must. Or child is 3 years old and loved it. Well worth the money.
Would go back to resort but different hotel/apartment.
