The San Stefano is located on lush hillside 80 meters above sea level, approx. 13 kms from Corfu Town and within walking distance from the picturesque small fishing village of Benitses. Also within walking distance is the Achilleion Palace in the lovely village of Gastouri, which can be reached through beautiful walkways amongst olive groves, cypress trees and typical Corfiot vegetation. The hotels’ beach (pebble) is ten minutes walk down the hill or you can use our shuttle bus.

Stayed at the El Greco hotel many times. It’s not in the centre of Benitses but just outside.
Rooms are very basic but clean. Owned by a lovely Greek family that will always make you feel welcome.

I booked this hotel on the lastminute website the price was 52 pounds per double room per night in all inclusive. we stayed in the private apartments they have in the lower part of the hill. Most of the tourist are German or French , the hotel has many... read more
