Just returned from this hotel and would recommend it without a doubt.

My husband took me for my birthday and I could not have wished for a better hotel, we had a room on the 26th floor, the views of the sea were excellent.

Hotel spotless, room spotless, sheets changed every day, cannot fault this hotel at all.

Staff all very helpful and polite.

Shopping centre next door has lots of places to eat and drink, we ate at Moncho's a few times the food was good also good value for money.

Local Metro, Trams and buses all close by this hotel.

Would definately go back.

Really nice hotel. It is on the outskirts of the city and is right by the beach.

The tube wasn't working when we were there but there is a bus that takes you right from the centre of town to the hotel - this can be a little bit of a hassle, but is really cheap (if you get a book of ten tickets it costs just 0.65 euros for each journey).

The rooms were large and had huge windows with a view of the city. there is a free mini bar with waters, and free coke and beer which is refreshed daily.

We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food, but the prices of room service looked reasonable.

The hotel is right by a large shopping complex, with lots of shops and big hypermarket.

The hotel has 2 pools - which can be a real bonus in the heat - one of which is apparently the highest pool in Barcelona.

I'd recommend the hotel - but my boyfriend took me as a treat so can't say whether it was expensive or not!

Great hotel! Me and my...

Great hotel! Me and my girlfriend stayed there over New Year 06/07 and had a fantastic time!

The hotel is quite away from the city and attractions buts this doesn't matter as there is a tram and tube right outside the hotel and a very fair price (1euro single anywhere in the city)

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly but are out for that tip!

Overall a great stay and hope to return again!

Ordered room service ... the food was perfect and the price fair!

Would have no hesitation recommending this hotel!

A friend and I stayed at this hotel for a long weekend in July 2006 having seen & booked it on the internet. Its a new 26 story skyscraper located near the beach front on the outskirts of town (opposite side of town from the airport). There is a tram station close by and the metro is about 10 minute walk.

Our room was excellent with TV and free mini bar! (Don’t get too excited - you only get 1 bottle of beer, and about 3 minerals). Beds were made daily and new towels provided. internet facilities, two swimming pools, one of which is located on rooftop. Also a bar on ground floor opened until 1am. Room service was 24hours (drinks and sandwiches available) at a very reasonable rate.

We rented a car for the weekend and this is where our only problems arose with the hotel! As regards parking they required a valet to drive the car into their car park. This wasn’t a big deal, only give yourself a little extra time if you are going off in the car later as sometimes this could take about 10 minutes or more. As you have to request a valet at the reception to retrieve your car at their car park and he will drive it to the front door.

We asked on a number of occasions if the car park was free and we were assured it was. Then on the morning we checked out we were left with a sour taste as we were told that there was an extra charge on our bill of 15euros per night extra for the car parking facilities. We protested to the receptionist that we were told it was free but he wasn't anyway interested.

Other than this it was a fantastic Hotel!

Excellent rooms. We were on the...

Excellent rooms. We were on the 19th floor and had a lovely view of the sea but if you where on the opposite side, you have a panoramic city view, the higher the better!

The Food had been stood a while but was still gorgeous. The open top bus route stops outside, so it was really easy to go places. If we come to Barcelona again, we will definitely stay there.

Barcelona is an amazing City but the Barcelona Princess was a disappointment. The rooms look fabulous but are not very functional - e.g. many have just showers and tiny 'stall' toilets. Strangely, they don’t supply plugs - even for the sink! The staff don’t seem to care much and the food was awful. Don’t try room service - a fortune for the smallest omelette you’ve ever seen. It is a four star hotel and not cheap (especially for Spain), so I wouldn’t recommend It.

The nearby shopping arcade was a bonus - excellent choice and very competitive prices plus a food hall - important given the quality of the hotel.

In the end, we checked out of the Princess and went to stay in a hotel further into the City which was a good plan. Get on an open top bus to get around. Its great value and you will see everything as you can just hop on and off as you like. The bus runs until 10 pm which is a bonus.
