For me Dublin was a great city. I travelled alone and found it to be such a welcoming / friendly place. Although a busy capital I felt totally safe.
Transfer form airport is easy & cheap on the ordinary buses (pick up just outside to the left as you leave the airport building).
Accommodation was clean & friendly & cheap. It was near train station which makes it both handy & noisy.
Definitely recommend a city hop-on-hop-off bus tour if you are limited for time - you get to do all the sites
If you find the Guinness a bit bitter, ask for a dash of black (blackcurrant).
I’ll definitely be going back.

I have been to Dublin 3 times as it is such a lovely city! So much to do and see, the guinness factory is a must. On this occasion I was on a hen weekend with my girly friends so wanted cheap accomodation and it was, but clean and friendly and situated in the heart of it all so all round a great break! Would definately recommend hostels as a cheaper option with friends as you can have a room to yourselves then and not have to share with strangers.
