Stayed one night in this hotel in Feb 2007.
Reception a tiny corridor with a desk, lift is very slow and when finally arrives shows you to worn corridors.
The lounge is nice and the patio would be nice in summer however sofas in need of cleaning and pay as you use computer wasn’t working. The pay phone last ages!
Rooms are ok on first look, liveable. Bathroom was a bit dingy, relatively clean but needed re-grouting etc. Safe was free and useful as was the heater.
Beds were so comfortable however I and friend both had bites the following day! This is what mainly brought down my opinion on this hotel.
However the location is excellent if your there to shop not too sure what it would be for those on a night out as temple bar did seem a trek.
It was quiet barely saw anyone there.
Receptionists were cold and unhelpful but when we asked for more milk for the tea and coffee it came up within half an hour.
Overall quite a reasonable place apart from the bugs in the bed!
