The bar and restaurant in hotel were also nice and they had retained the very high wooden beamed ceilings. The bar was often busy and had a good atmosphere. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was delicious.
We also had breakfast in the hotel. There was a good choice of cooked breakfast, from a full English breakfast, to omlettes and smoked salmon on scrambled egg! Also a choice of cereals, nuts, fruit and croissants.
The staff were also very helpful.
The hotel is in a good location right next to the canal. It's about a 10/15min walk from Grafton Street and all the attractions of the city centre. It's also good if you want to stay somewhere just a bit out of the hustle and busy of the Temple Bar area which is constantly lively. However, as it's only a short walk you can still visit all the bars and clubs in Temple Bar easily.
Would also recommend Le Mere Zou restaurant in the area, it's only a 10 minute walk for the hotel and the food is fantastic there.
