This was quite a nice hotel expect the foyer/reception area makes you think that the hotel is more grand than it actually is.
The rooms were a reasonable size and we had a nice sea view. The only problem with this was that the windows looked like they had not been washed for months and were so dirty that the view was obscured! However, the unclean windows did not reflect the cleanliness of the rest of the room which was clean and well maintained.
The food in the bar area and the hotel restaurant was very nice and provided good value for money. In addition to this the breakfast was also very nice and there was plenty of food available.
This hotel is advertised as 3km from Dublin City Centre; however the distance did appear to be longer than this and is definitely not within walking distance. Nevertheless this was a not a huge problem as the hotel is right next to a bus stop which provides frequent and reliable transport to the city centre.
Alternatively you can get a taxi which costs around 15 Euro.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it to others.
