I spent a long time trying to find a hotel in Barcelona that was of sufficient quality yet at an affordable price. The Apsis is a well appointed hotel, suitable more for than business than recreational market. The rooms were a good size and well finished. Staff were very helpful, in particular at pointing us in the direction of the Strip bars!
The downside to the hotel was that it was a good 30-40 minute walk from where the main bars/shops/attractions are. This was not a particular problem for me, but after 4 days my feet were a little worse for wear.
