Artefes Hotel Istanbul

My girlfriend and I were booked in to stay at Artefes when we visited Istanbul in May after quite a few recommendations. We arrived to find there was an issue with our room which meant that we couldn't use it. Despite our being tired and not in the best mood, Volkan was incredibly helpful and apologetic. Hallo, I was there in january for a short time.I had been searching for the hotels in Istanbuul before ı got there and after spending a long time in front of the pc and finding nothing usefull indeed ı thought ı had better ask my friend who had been in Istanbul once before me.He recommended me artefes hotel he said that the staff are very nıce and friendly and helps you to deal with with almost everything .... We spend four days in Artefes. It is newly renovated clean and fills well a travellers basic needs. There is a ocean view from the breakfast restaurant on the top floor. For lunch and dinner use the other restaurants nearby where also wine, beer and raki is served. This Sultan Ahmet area is in general very silent and safe.

For years now, I have been returning to New York City happy and with the firm conviction that it is the best place in the world...except earlier this month when I left Istanbul with a heavy heart, as I was telling Servet, who came down the steps of Artefes Hotel to see me out to my taxi back to Ataturk Airport. Everything seemed to go wrong for my trip to Turkey. I missed my connection in Chicago, was transferred to a Turkish Airlines flight, and my luggage arrived 4 days later. However, Sergio and Tuba [at the Artefes desk] made all my discomfort disappear through their kindness and concern. I think Tuba was almost happier than I when my luggage finally did arrive. In a very quiet area near sultanahmet just ten minutes walk from Agia sophia and the blue mosque. We arrived late in the evening and the reception desk service was very helpful and friendly. We were shown to our room on the ground floor which was a very good size and had very comfortable beds. I would say that if you are a deep sleeper you will have a very good night. However i am a very light sleeper and we had noisy occupants in the next room who had a very late shower which kept us awake as you could hear them talking and water running.... more

I stayed at this hotel last weekend, it is a very nice small hotel, in the middle of a quiet neihbourhood, close to the Blue Mosque. Decent sized rooms, decorated with taste, nice old renovated building, and really friendly and helpful staff. Very good value, I'd stay here again, have already recommended it to friends.

It was realy nice time in Istanbul in "Lovely Hotel Artefes" !!!! Very clean rooms,Friendly and Gentelman personel,good price,nice service and breakfaast,in time and good transporting,They good taking care about everything!!! What we need more? Every year minimum one time I go to Istanbul now I'm sooooo happy to find Artefes hotel,like my home comfort!!! For my next Istanbul Holidays will be in Artefes Hotel!!!!
