If youre going for the strip in albuferia then this is perfect. I dont normally ever write reviews..in fact this is my first one ive ever done...but thought it would be good to spread the word.
We went for the week and I think we were the first to book (December some time) as we got room '1'. Which is situated right on the pool side, right next to the 'bar shop thing'.
Our room seemed the biggest out the ones we saw, but i think theyre near enough all the same, they're very spacious, clean, shower always hot...Facilities like microwave very useful. You get a balcony which is incredible just to sit, drink and enjoy the sun...pondering the night before and the night to come!
The pool is great, never crowded (baring in mind this is in peak season)Always blasting out music nearby which is great...small complaint is that this starts at 9am/10am, so doesnt help with the old hangover!
Food is what you want for a clubbing sort of holiday, chips and stuff. Staff are friendly and after a night out, one of us ended up passed out next to the hotel and one of the staff kindly took him into our room and put him to bed, which was a great laugh in the morning!!!
Beer isnt as cheap as you think out there, I would recommend stocking up on large crates of superbock as its not that cheap at Eirosol, something like 2.50 euros for a pint...A massive supermarket is a 1 min walk away...The night life is amazing, such a good lads holiday. Use this hotel to crash out.
Definately not good for families or quiet people, we got in at stupid o clock every night and we wernt quiet.
Recommendations would be the organised pub crawls that youl get offered walking around the strip, meet great people, great drinking games (champagne boatrace!!)...just GREAT
Would go back again
(if we are ever allowed...we accidently smashed the window of out appartment the last night...:D)

We have just returned from spending a week in the Eirasol appartments, myself, husband and two young children had a fantastic holiday. Although the appartments were basic and needed updating, they were spacious and had met our needs. The maids were in everyday, clean towels twice during the week. As for people saying the pool is cold we thought it was a welcoming break from the heat, as soon as you were in you got used to it. The only downside was that it is not toddler friendly the shallow end was approximatley 3 foot deep so we purchased a rubber ring which solved problem. The staff were absolutely brilliant with all guests especially the kids. The pool bar and the main bar were very entertaining places. The location of the appartment was excellent central to all amenities. We are considering returning next year,

Ignore all the bad reviews on this page, The Eirasol apartments are excellent value for money.
I was with 3 of my friends, and we had a 1 bedroom apartment which was very spacious, and had a great view over the pool. The maids came in daily although would not disturb you if you were still sleeping, which we were most mornings. Alves and Paula are 2 of the kindest and friendliest people ive ever met, so much so that I gave them one of my football tops to hang up in the bar area. They also put on the Karaoke on the last night because we were leaving, a very nice gesture. The apartments are very close to the Strip, about a 5 minute walk. There is also a McDonalds, KFC and Pizza hut just up the road. IF we return to Albufeira we will definetly be staying here again. Thankyou Alves and Paula for your help throughout the week!!

Myself, my husband, our 14 year old daughter and her friend have just returned from a week in the Eirasol apartments. We had a brilliant time. The staff are not only friendly and helpful, but are the most wonderful people as well. Paula and Alves who run the bar are two of the most genuine people we have ever met. Do try their barbeque on a Tuesday night.
The apartments themselves are clean and huge. The maids are in every day with clean linen and towels and are very pleasant.
We had read reviews and were really apprehensive about going here, but believe me it is fabulous.
Obviously the pool is not huge, but hey, you have an ocean 10 minutes walk away. The pool area is massive and because there are only 39 apartments you get to know everyone. We didn't even have to spend a day at the beach. There are plenty of free inflatables by the pool as well. As for people saying the pool is cold, IT ISN'T, it's just that the air is so warm. You want to see cold try the beach, it's the Atlantic Ocean!!
There is a huge supermarket when you come out the doors to reception to your left just across the roundabout. It is Portugal's answer to aldi and lidl I think, but it is about a third cheaper than the one across the road and they sell everything.
The only thing I can say is ladies watch your bags. I was mugged on our second night there up the top of the strip beside Sinatra's bar. They stole my bag and roughed me up a little, so be careful. They weren't bothered about my husband being there either and he's not exactly a small bloke. So please be watchful.
Hope everyone who goes has a brilliant time. We are planning on going back next year.

I would first like to point out that Albufeira is a wonderful place and plan on revisiting many times....however, our only disappointment was with the Eirasol apartments.
When we first arrived the reception looked bleak and needed updating as did the whole place, the rooms were quite spacious and reasonably clean and the maids did come every day. The swimming pool area was a great disappointment, it was filthy and wasn't cleaned once in the 7 days I was there (disgusting).
It didn't help that a group of 20+ lads turning up who had no thought for others or the surroundings they were in. They left the pool area in a mess daily of which the staff didn’t want to clean up (so they didn’t). They were extremely loud particularly between the hours of 12pm to 7am and the staff appeared completely uninterested in reminding them there were other people staying there.
I wouldn’t recommend this for families or elderly people and would not stay there again.... so be warned if you decide to try it.

We came home from these aptms on the 12th June and we were very sorry to leave. The cleanliness of these aptms are well above the rating they have. The maids came in every day and we had clean towels every second day, I have been to accomodation that you are lucky if you get them once a week. The maids always had a smile on their faces where ever you went, i have never been to such a friendly place in all of my holidays, and this is the 3rd time in Portugal in 2 years alone.Rui and Pala allowed us the privelage to stay in our apartment until 2pm even when we were supposed to leave at 10am at no extra charge, not many places do that. Now to the family who run the bar, the were absolutely outstanding, they greeted every new customer with a handshake and a welcome to our bar. Unfortunately while we where there Julie. and her family lost there grandad home in England. although they were grieving they put their customers first.Any thing you needed to know there were there to help. I will definately come back to these apartments, the friendliest of everyone was outstanding. God bless you especially to Bill,Julie and Billy who helped make our holiday excellent.Take care, we love you all.Eileen and Trish from Dundee.

On arrival we thought the reception was dull and dated but the staff were nice and helpful.
The apartment had 1 bedroom with 2 of the hardest beds I've ever tried to sleep on. The beds are so unbelievably hard, if it hadn’t been for the fact that you cant get to sleep for the large groups of drunken teenagers running riot all night, and the noise of the traffic going all day and all night, I might have complained about not being able to sleep on the beds.
The location was fine in as much as you can walk to the strip in about 5 minutes, to the beach in about 10 to 15 minutes, and to the Old Town in about 25 to 30 minutes.
Complaints; -
The pool bar was poor, but I suppose it is just a pool bar, however there is a notice as you enter the pool area informing you that your now allowed to take any food or drinks into the pool area, not even a bottle of water, I mean we were self catering and I thought self catering meant you catered for yourself.
The pool area was never cleaned the 2 weeks we were there, and is in desperate need of a good jet wash.
T.C. should have said when we booked that this place is popular with groups of teenagers screaming and shouting all night, and you had to feel sorry for the cleaners who would have to swill the puke away on the landings.
Good Points; -
The rooms were clean, and the staff were really nice and always helpful.
Overall T.C. should inform people when they book about the noise from the groups of teenagers and the traffic, they should also tell them about the restrictions beside the pool area, and that the sun doesn’t get onto the terrace until after 11am.
Apart from that I'd be happy to go back to Albufeira, the area is nice and the local people are great - but not to these apartments.

I think I was in a different hotel to everyone else. The maids may have come in but we didn't get clean towels until the last day and the bedding was never changed. There was myself, husband and our 2 children but only enough cutlery for 2/3. The pool area was NEVER cleaned. People were leaving fag butts everywhere and they were still there when we left. There was a bucket of dirty water in the kitchen when we arrived that was still there when we left. This was self catering but you weren't allowed to bring food or drink to the sun loungers as you had to buy it from there bar ( not even water ) everything had to be bought from there. Also karaoke every night !! My room was under the bar and it was like being in a night club. This is really not a place for families but for young people. Its like Butlins / Blackpool with heat. Yes the reception staff were friendly but it couldn't take away the fact that this is 2*...hmm I think that is way above its actual rating. The only thing that made this bearable were the other people we met who all felt the same. I felt sorry for the Rep because every day people were complaining. I wouldn't go back to that place if it was for free. I could go on and on but don't want to waste any more time on that place.....

Me and my boyfriend stayed in the eirasol apartments for a week in June. Really enjoyed our time in Albufeira. Apartments were really spacious and clean. All staff were really helpful and had allot of patience.
All spoke really good English as well. The pool is extremely cold but you soon get used to it once you’re in it. There was a mixture of people staying there old, young and families. Not too far away from the main strip.
Hayley was our rep and she was really nice! We went on the bar crawl with all the reps which is a must as they show you the best bars. We visited Zoo Marine which was excellent and we went to slide n splash but it was a bit cold on the day so we didn’t enjoy it that much.
We found one of the best restaurants which was close to the apartments called restaurant areas- the staff are really nice and its good prices- we went 5nights out of 7! A trip to the old town is a must, just jump on the train which takes you straight there for about £2. There are lots of bars and restaurants.
We will probably return for another holiday in Albufeira in the near future.

We had a fantastic week staying in the Eirasol apartments in Albufeira.
The reception area was very bland and dated, but our apartment was bright and spacious, a maid came into clean daily and put clean towels in the bathroom.
We had 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (mattress hard) a dressing table and mirror and lots of storage space for clothes, a large living area with a TV and 2 sofa beds. Patio doors that lead on to a balcony looking over the swimming pool area, the kitchen area is also ample with a 2 ring hob and a mini oven/grill, a fridge, cups, plates, and cutlery (we ate out every day).
The bathroom was spacious too with toilet, bath, sink, shower, and bidet.
The pool is not enormous but is ok if want to have a swim or chill out on sun lounges (very cold pool not heated).
The staff are lovely very polite, friendly and helpful all speak good English.
The location of the Eirasol is brilliant! About 15 minutes (walk) to the Main Strip, this has everything for everyone! Bars, restaurants, shops and at the end of the strip is a beautiful beach.
It’s about a 25-minute walk to the Old Town and is absolutely brilliant the beaches are fantastic. It is a totally different atmosphere to the main strip and is more family orientated.
There is a main square which has nightly entertainment going on so you can choose a bar and watch what’s happening in the square or go round the back of the square where there is a livelier atmosphere.
A Beautiful walk back from the old town to the new on the beach.
I will highly recommend the Eirasol Apartments for couples, families, and singles.
Will be going back next year.

These very spacious apartments are in a great location, 1 block from the top of the strip which is a maximum of 5 mins away, so you have the convenience of being close to the bars, clubs, restaurants etc, but are just far enough away to not be disturbed by the noise. The little tourist train goes from the top of the strip, so there’s easy access to the old town too ( a day ticket is 3.50 euros). There’s a good size supermarket Pingo Doce just across the Worms roundabout, by the Eirasol, although there is a little mini-mart just opposite, as well as bars, cafes etc. At the other end of the strip is the Oura beach.
The apartments are huge, spotlessly clean and have recently been redecorated making them really light & airy with patio doors leading out to a good size balcony with table & chairs. I think all apartments overlook the pool & the higher floors also have views of the sea. I had the sun on my balcony through til it set in the evening.
They have all new kitchen appliances (microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle + cutlery, crockery, good quality stainless steel pans etc). I would say the cups are very small though, but I just bought a mug in one of the local shops for my cups of tea! The bedroom had 2 moveable 3’ single beds and the living area had 2 sofa beds (also 3’). All were very comfortable. All the apartments have newly fitted air conditioning units. There was a small tv in the living area complete with remote control (no charge for the remote!). The bathroom had a shower over the bath, which had good pressure and plenty of hot water (the apartments each have their own electric water heating tanks, which are very efficient & quick to heat up).
The main bar/restaurant is decorated in typical Portugese style with lots of yellow/blue tiles, as is the reception area. The price of the food and drink is very reasonable, a lot of it is cheaper than you would pay elsewhere in the area (I can particularly recommend the English Breakfast!) There is also a pool bar, which offers the same meals/snacks etc.
The pool itself was medium sized and always very clean, with plenty of comfortable sunbeds with mattresses around it. There’s also a BBQ area near the pool, which I understand is used for regular barbeques for the guests.
What really made my stay here so brilliant though, were the staff. They are so genuinely friendly and welcoming, it was wonderful. I was travelling alone on this occasion, but really needn’t have worried at all – I felt at home immediately. Christiana and her husband run the bar/restaurant with help from her sister and a friend – they are all truly lovely people who really care – Thanks guys for making my stay so great - I will be back!!
