Sawridge Inn & Conference Centre

We stayed at the Sawridge Inn at Jasper for 2 nights while doing the Rocky Mountaineer train and coach trip. Its a beautiful hotel in the most breathtaking surroundings.
The hotel was clean with friendly staff. A very nice restaurant there. We had breakfast there but chose to eat dinner in town just for the walk out. While there, we took advantage of the wooded trails behind the hotel. One leads more less into town and the other goes up into the woods. If you choose to take the one up into the woods the view from the top is wonderful. If you stay on the trail and keep going for half an hour or so you will come out onto the road leading into town. Its a really nice walk and a chance to see some of Jaspers wildlife. We came up on a small herd of elk as we came to the end of the trail. In front of the hotel are also sidewalks going into town a 5 minute walk away. The morning we were waiting for our coach to pick us up the were elk in front of the hotel. This is a beautiful place to stay. We would definitely go there again.
