Food both breakfast and dinner is varied and excellent. No English cooked breakfast but plenty of other things including pancakes. Excellent selection of typical Italian starters laid out as a buffet before dinner which comprised pasta or soup followed by main course which is served at the table followed by a selection of desserts on a buffet basis. A large bowl of fresh fruit always available. Very friendly staff and brilliant atmosphere at all times but no good going if want a quiet hotel! On the downside we were on the top floor and there is no lift - 54 steps up and down to breakfast area, which is below ground level. The only real concern we had was that the bedroom was cold and the bathroom was very small - no room for larger people. Need to watch out for extra costs. On arrival at dinner table a jug of red wine was always on the table. Please remember to ask about cost of this because there is a charge and it isn't cheap, as we found out at end of holiday! If you don't want some or all of the wine make sure it is taken away or you will be charged for it.

Room large for skiing accommodation.
Food excellent. Not very far from skilift. Shop at skilift has ski cupboards. Virtually no-one on the slopes which makes for easy skiing for oldies like us.
Hotel staff were fun. We have never visited skiing town more than once but intend to go back to La Quiete again this year.
