We arrived on thursday 2nd of june 2011.
Second time at this hotel. Our room was ready, very clean in every way.
The view from the room was so beautiful,it made us stay in for a long while admiring the beach and the well looked over the gardens.
The fully equiped main bar overlooking the pool has an atmosphere of its own.
The food in the restaurant (overlooking the pool),was perfect with a very helpful, friendy staff. We donot think that any other restaurant in cyprus has such a charming view of the harbour.
Reception staff, always in hand, nothing ever is a problem.Much of the credit for that goes to the management.
We like this hotel very much.We will come back again very soon.

Me and my partner recently spent two weeks in the paphiessa apartments and really enjoyed our stay, rooms are large and very clean. Staff are helpful, 3 pools to choose from all spotlessly clean. You do have to fight the germans for the sun loungers but we are early risers. Hotel is located in a nice location within easy walking distance to the harbour and nightlife. We were self catering but other family members who were half board said the food was wonderful.

We recently had a Short escape to Paphos. Paphiessa hotel was the place as we stayed there many years ago and we took part in a Video taken from the Hotel. And what a success!! The weather was beautiful and we had a good Opportunity to Travel round and See the blossoms.
It was magnificent!! The Best Place to Be. Nothing can Beat the views from the Rooms and the Restaurant terrace. The Food was quite nice (we would Prefer traditional meals) but the Staff was excellent. Always eager to help. We highly recommend this hotel. We shall return very soon..
I have read some reviews about the aircon. There are aircons in the rooms and they are working. They are payable locally thought and it is stated in the broshures. That is why they are not working you need to pay for it!.

20 mins walk away from beach, taxi 5,mins 8,euros fortune!, hotel at the side of a dual 'A,road'noise unbelevable day and night, even racing by bikes and cars, pool great but it's right at the side of the 'A'road but noise spoils it.reception area ok,hotel in mucky back streets, food poor not enough choice, very small portions, staff excellent, room very poor left in the dark ages gruby, very disapointing, shops and bars closed all over.staff in dinning very good.
- Advice: hire a car and get away from the hotel,

We stayed at Paphiessa apartments during April 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartments are in a good location and the staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful! They are incredibly good value, which is reassuring, as Paphos is a beautiful place! I would definitely recommend the apartments and I would also stay there again

We have just returned from an absolutely superb holiday at this complex. We travelled as an extended family from grandparents to children. All the rooms were spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The hotel facilities were superb with 3 pools, including 1 children's pool and an indoor pool, spa gym and all were immaculately kept. There were plenty of umbrellas and sunbeds around the pool areas too. The staff and food are also what make this hotel. The staff are superb. The manager, chef and housekeeper (who is so much more than just a housekeeper) were always around the grounds, chatting to staff and holiday makers alike, ensuring everyone was happy but the whole team there were brilliant and the food is amazing. The choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as the snacks in between were fantastic. The daily/nightly entertainment was brilliant. The entertainment team work tirelessly from early morning to late night providing children and adults alike with daytime activities and superb family entertaininment into the night. The hotel's location, only a 15 minute walk or 5 minute (on air conditioned buses) ride away from the Harbour area is also great with a hypermarket a 10 minute walk away for those that choose the self catering option. We really could not fault this hotel/apartment complex and highly recommend it for all age groups.

Stayed two wks at the Paphiessa with my family. We were treated very well and had no complaints what so ever! On arrival we had no toaster... so they went over to the supermarket and purchased us a new one that evening! Not many places would bother. The rooms were clleaned every day and the selection at breakfast was good. The location was perfect....no need for car hire; which saved us some cash! The hotel is near the harbour, decent bars and not far from bar street and all the restaurants. All the staff were friendly; especially the bar lady and maintenance man! Highly recommended for everyone

Good points - none: Bad points - next to dual carriageway; room full of old furniture and makeshift wardrobes painted in green fence paint; sheets seemed clean but tatty, bedspreads recycled curtains; towels grey coloured; toilet brush disgusting; plaster falling from ceiling. The food in the restaurant was very basic, not much fresh fruit. It was definitely the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.

A family run business whom we found very friendly and hospitable and very accommodating
to all our requests . Apartments were clean and comfortable with all the basic essentials .
The swimming pool is one of the best we have seen cleaned daily and relaxing atmosphere with an additional paddling pool for the kids . Close to the beach and shops and not to far from the harbour for an evening stroll with the kids .

We arrived at this hotel towards the end of december and enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to extend our holiday until the beginning of february. Everything about it was very enjoyable. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A very good selection of food at breakfast and evening meal. Plenty of salads and a variety of meats beautifully tender and fish every evening. Cleanliness of room excellent bathroom scrubbed and floors washed every day, clean bedding and towels every two days. Rooms are very basic but this is a 3* hotel and not a 5*, and after all you only need your room to sleep in which indeed I slept soundly. The swimming pool and garden area were very pleasant and the water lovely and warm. At the pool bar there is a very pleasant terrace where we always took out a cup of tea to drink after eating our breakfast and also enjoy a drink in the evening. I will definately return to this hotel, in fact have already gone on line to start looking at dates.

Hotel in ideal location for Paphos harbour and many sites and museums. No good beaches within walking distance. Hotel decoration is very nice and it has a certain charm and is clean and tidy. Staff are very helpful and friendly and alot of the staff are English or have good English language. The pool is large and clean and although not overly attractive is quiet to enjoy catching the sun. Too many people put towels down early morning and hog sun beds and there are not really enough of these for everyone! Breakfast is self service with tradfitional cypriot, Englishish style and tea and toast as much as you want

This hotel is worthy of more stars! I have stayed in many 3* hotels in the world but this has been one of the best. The bedrooms and bathrooms were cleaned every day. All public areas were spotless. The dining room, although busy, was efficiently managed and I did not have to queue for my meals which were tasty and varied. The swimming pool and gardens were well looked after and all the staff were helpful and friendly. One very good point in this Hotels favour...the rooms were quiet at night ..noise did not filter in from the corridors!
No matter what age group you are in..this hotel will suit everyone.
