This hotel is the worst gold hotel we have been too.
The food was poor if you didn't get to the restaurant before 7.30pm there was hardly any choice. The breakfast choice was made up of some of the left over food from the night before (who has peas and carrots for breakfast).
The entertainment was poor, this was provided by the Gold Hosts who tried their best.
Considering the hotel has undergone refurbishment this was not in the bedrooms, we booked a superior room which had damage to the basin in the bathroom, their was mould growing behind the toilet, the bed was so uncomfortable it would have been better to sleep on the floor.
All in all a very poor holiday.

Wow what an excellent holiday.. the hotel was excellent the level of service was amazing & the personal touches made it all seem so special, more than just a guest.
Would recommend it to anyone (couples) that are looking for a complete break, wanting time to relax because the views from the comfort of your sunbed are beautiful, the pool is so inviting, the food is so varied, well presented & tasty that you really feel that you have no need to venture out.
Admittedly the beach on what it is situated on is not the best but then that’s beaches in Paphos.. but there is a grass area with sunbeds .. but when the pool is so good & you get waiter/waitress service to your sunbed why go? Its £6 for a taxi in to Paphos, which is lively without being to OTT & plenty of eating-places but then again when the food is good at the hotel why go?
Thompson staff were excellent 2 very helpful and for those that wanted there were games in & out of pool as well as evening entertainment ..Wish I was still there ..

We had a good holiday at this hotel. The strong points were the food and the staff; meals were very good both in choice and quality, and the service excellent (those who didn't like it were those who couldn't take the dry Cypriot humour!). Bar and lounge service was also cheerful and prompt.
We would reckon accommodation to be adequate rather than good; the room was clean and of a decent size, so no complaints, but nothing to write home about. As we were there at Easter we didn't need to try out the air conditioning (but the weather was gorgeous, like a mild English summer).
The pool area is very pleasant, with a decent poolside bar area and a well-kept grassed space for loungers. It has to be said that the "beach" really isn't; there's a very little sand, but that's it.
The hotel's clientele tends towards middle-aged couples; this was fine by us, but might bother some. Certainly if you're looking for entertainment, this is not the hotel for you; there's not much apart from what the reps put on. The hotel is a long way north of Paphos town (about 4 km), so you can't just wander in after dinner (it's also a busy road with no pavement). However, during the day there are very regular and cheap buses which stop right outside the hotel, so getting in and out of town is no problem.
Overall we were very satisfied, and the only reason we would not return is that we always like to go to new places.
