A very quaint and traditional guest house on the outskirts of Kirchdorf, the accommodation was good as was the food although there is no choice of menu.
Situated a good 10-15 minutes from the nursery slopes it is not ideal for a family but for a couple or friends who want some fresh mountain air first thing in the morning it certainly clears the head!
There is a ski hopper bus that stops just outside the hotel for those who have no inclination for a 15 minute walk through the village. The hotel sits at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser and the views are spectacular to say the least. the village is very traditionally Austrian and quite picturesque.
All in all, a very good base if peace and quiet is what you require in the evening, otherwise the bars and nightclub are but a short walk away.
