Terracos Do Vau Apartments

We have just come back from our holiday in Terracos Do Vau, the apartment was beautiful and spacious with air conditioning, washing machine and dishwasher! Maid service 6 days out of 7.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was never a problem getting a sun bed at the pool any time of day. The pool was nice, and always in the sun.
It takes about 7 minutes to walk to the beach at Praia Do Vau which is beautiful. Quite busy with the locals on a weekend though, but still plenty of room.
We ate at the Jacoranda a few nights in Prai Do Vau, and would recommend it. The actual resort has no "gift shops" to roam around of an evening, but it's only about a 20 minute walk along the coast to Praia Do Rocha, which was very busy. Nice to visit but I wouldn't like to have stayed there.
Alvor is a short taxi ride away, about 5 euros, and well worth a visit.
We went to Slide and Splash for one day of our holiday. We would recommend this for a great day out!
We loved this holiday and would certainly recommend it.

Our first package holiday abroad, with 4 other families. Thomson were absolutely brilliant finding a holiday to fit all our requirements. The booking, travel and accommodation were absolutely first class. The hotel staff and local people were friendly and helpful.
The apartments were spacious clean and well appointed

Praia da Rocha is a 20 minute stroll and has enough nightlife to satisfy anyone 16 to 60
The town and beach were clean and within a 5 minute easy walk of the apartments.
The weather was perfect for the whole holiday.
We could not fault the holiday in any way.

The apartment are cleaned on a regular basis fresh linen every other day service was brilliant.
the Bar and it's staff were so helpful got on with them really well. everyone is so friendly and they loved children shops are really good to

The whole Portimao area is lovely especially the night life in Rocha the clubs are fantastic here.
I am I’m the middle of purchasing a villa here at the moment and i am looking forward to spending alot of time here.

We had a fantastic time the apartment was clean and kept so on a daily basis with towels changed regularly.
The bar staff were second to none and couldn’t do enough.
We took a chance with the weather and although the first week was hot it was cooler in the second.
The eating out was very good and I recommend you take the train to largos as that is beautiful. All the beaches were very clean. Would go again

Just came back from Praia Da Vau and had the time of our lives, loved every minute of this holiday. The apartments were huge and the whole resort as well as the apartments are kept very clean, the staff cannot do enough for you. Were really good with the children and because it is a small resort it was so much better.
The beach is beautiful and small enough to keep your eyes on little ones and not loose them as some of the beaches in Portugal are vast and it is quite easy to loose sight of them. Would definitely like to go back next year. Meet some really nice people there also.
