My wife and I have been to this location every year since 1998.



We have always stayed at the Aqualuz except when the complex was closed in 2006 & 2007 for the major renovation. The old complex was good but the present one is just superb.



On the first few visits we booked through a package holiday but later we started to book direct. We have always found the staff in the reception and the bar and snack bar very good. It semed that they went out of their way to get to know the customers and always did everything to help. This was a big factor when we first came to Aqualuz and was a major reason why we returned. We have been there in May, Aug/Sept and even in Dec. August is very busy as this is the main Portuguese holiday time.



We have been there in total 14 times and will continue to return again in Sept.



We can strongly recommend this seperb accommadation to any person who wants to enjoy a nice stress free. holiday. It has the advantage of being close to the centre of Lagos yet quiet at night.

This hotel has just been refurbished and the rooms are big, you have a balcony and they all overlook the swimming pool.



The staff are very helpful and will go out of there way for you. There is 2 outdoor pools and two indoor pools with a gym which are attached to the hotel you get a voucher then you can go it is like a fitness first they even give you towels so you don’t have to take yours.



We had a meal at the hotel it was a set menu and it was 15 Euros each for a 4 course and I can say the taste was delicious. This hotel will be in the brochures this year it has a rooftop where you can sunbathe and it is lovely up there.

Went there about 3 years in a row starting in 1999-2002. Love Lagos, beautiful old town and harbour.



Everyone at Aqua Luz were helpful and polite. Rooms are basic but alright if you plan not to spend a long time in them.



Large pool and smaller baby pool were good. Entertainment was alright with BBQ and traditional Portuguese nights.



Went back to Lagos in the summer of last year and passed Aqua Luz, it was closed.



Looked like they were building new appartments around the surrounding area.
