Just back from a h/b week at the Mont Park. Great location for the beach - only 2 minutes away. The hill up to it was fine. Lovely pool area but because of the awful highrise surrounding the hotel, you lose the sun quite often. The poolside beds were like rocks! so... more

been to a lot of resort and this has been the best one so far, the hotel was clean and the food was great, and the staff was very friendly, for young and old, shopping was on your door step and bars and clubs, i will be going there again very soon, small walk to beach and bus stop and taxi stand

Just returned from a Christmas week at Mont Park. After booking it I read the reviews wrong way round I know. There is a short hill to the hotel we are in our sixties and managed it without any problems It would be a problem for infirm and elderly folk. The guy at reception was pleasant on our arrival and ok he didn't know much english but hey he was Spanish in a Spainish hotel. Yes the lift is small but there is two of them one behind the other. We have just arrived back from a 6 night stay at this hotel and we thought it was fine. There are lots of spanish at the hotel but what do you expect when staying in spain ? The hotel staff dont go out of the way for you but the maids make sure your room is clean and you get clean towels everyday. The pool area is small and was quite busy but you have the beach 2 mins away. Cant say anything about the food as we never ate in there it was cheap enough to eat out. more

Phew was glad to get home !!! Dont think it matters what time of year you come here it is full of Spanish. Got to reception on arrival just gave us our room key, end of story, no welcome no hotel information, nothing. Room ok, nice and clean, pool view and nice view of the beach. Pleased with the Mont Park Hotel from JULIETATK
We booked the holiday on a late deal. When we arrived there was a small steep hill to go up, not very suitable for wheelchairs. Our room wasn't ready we had to wait half an hour, thought oh no the bad reviews were right, but i have to say were pleased with our stay at the mont park. The rooms are basic, but spotless, the maid in every day. We had no complaints about the food, something to suit everyone. Most of the staff friendly enough. Hotel is very close to the beach and shops, and only 10 minute walk from all the night entertainment.... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for the first two weeks of September. I have to say we did feel a bit overwhelmed by how many Spanish people were staying in the hotel, as we found out it was the Spanish holiday the first week we were there. On the second day,I had 2 camaras stolen from the room,a digital dvd vidio camara,plus a good quality pics camara .The bag for the camaras was still in the room,with batteries cables etc,there was no sign of forced entry ,if the room was robbed they would have taken everything........so i think this was a inside job.........or someone who has a key when i reported it to reception ,they were not interested or helpfull at all.....................so ....warning ,dont leave nothing of value in your room. the food was... more

I can honestly say this is the most uninviting hotel I have ever stayed in. The reception staff were unfriendly and didn't give any vibes of friendliness. The food was to my mind was just catered for the Spanish people and there was no variation as the week went on. As for the holiday makers in the hotel, apart from myself and my friend they were all Spanish and they were so rude when getting in and out of the lift and even worse when we went down to eat in the resturant. The hotel is close to the beach, but up quite a steep hill, so not practical for older guests. The check in staff were not very friendly or helpful and the rooms were not quite what we had expected. Had to change rooms when first got there, as our first room had a huge crack in the middle of the bath. The second room only had a small one. Meals weren't too bad, big variety, but mostly meat and fish, so not good for vegetarians. more

My husband and I stayed at the Mont Park from the 27th of December to the 2nd of January 06. The hotel is not suitable for the disabled as its up quite a steep hill also the lift does not go down to the dining room therefore there is a number of stairs to negotiate.
