when we arrived at the hotel, the gentleman at the desk told us our all inclusive deal was all inclusive light.never heard of it before.it was a lovely hotel, very clean, staff friendly enough, but food wasn't that great.wouldn't recommend this hotel for all inclusive as it isn't,maybe for half board.this hotel was quite a bit away from the centre of benidorm.not legible for people with pushchairs and wheelchairs as there are steps to climb up to the hotel.wouldn't go back, but will go back to benidorm.

i spent 7 nights at the cabana hotel with my boyfriend. ive rated the hotel as 8/10 because it was very clean and generally well organised. most guests have noted that the all inclusive light option is disapointing so i booked full board after reading these reviews. the food is good, all you can eat for 3 meals a day which have 3 courses each. i was very satisfied with this - the food isnt too "spanish" theres different food to suit everyone. the pool was disapointing. the area around the pool is very good though. the hotel is only 10 minutes from the sea front - but for younger people looking for night life i advise you book a hotel on the busier levante beach rather than poniente. if i was to visit benidorm again i would book cabana hotel!

Just had 5 sunny days here. The hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful. The food was ok . A bit dissapointed it was Light All Inclusive, so drinks not available all the time also there were no snacks as these are just for the summer months. Lovely view from our balcony. A nice part of town, quiet, a fair walk to the buzzing part of Benidorm. The hotel is popular with the elderly spanish and all evening entertainment is for them. There are a few Chinese restaraunts which are excellent and very cheap! Also if you miss Britain go to the Stretford End bar, good beer, food and tv.

Had a nice week at the Cabana the reception and the hotel seemed very clean.
The food was very spanish orientated and not very nice!
We were lucky the weather was hot as there would be nothing else to do if it was bad. The music and entertaintment in the hotel was rubbish and they even cancelled sky sports after 2 days!!!!!!!!!!
A friend on the same floor as myself did not have her pillow cases, sheets, or towels changed all week, she was ill for two days and needed to feel clean, the maid should have asked if she wanted to be changed instead of leaving her room because she was in it. The sheets were finally changed the night before we were leaving.
The lifts were very tempremental!!
The hotel was very difficult to get to and not at all suitable for people who find it difficult walking.
taxis are a must you will need one in this hotel.

WHEN WE ARRIVED WE HAD ASKED FOR A FIRST FLOOR ROOM AS MY HUSBAND AND i ARE DISABLED HE BEING BADLEY CLOSTROPHOBIC AS WELL SO NO LIFT .. THE TOUR OPPERATOR HAD PROMISED TO ARRANGE THIS.. DIDN'T. THEY TOLD US IT WAS ALL INCLUSIVE...NOT SO... I DONT BLAME THE HOTEL WHO WERE VERY GOOD AND PUT US IN A LOW FLOOR ROOM THEN WENT TO GREAT PAINS TOM EXPLAIN THEY ARE A LIGHT ALL INCLUSIVE AND KEEP TELLING THE TOUR OPPERATORS THIS BUT AS THEY WANT TO GRAB YOUR MONEY THEY DONT PASS ON THE INFO' TO US. BE SURE YOU GET THE TOUR OPPERATORS TO HONER THERE WORD AS THEY LIE. AS FOR THE HOTEL ITS CLEAN THE STAFF ARE VERY GOOD HELPING ALL THE TIME FOOD IS SPANISH MOSTLY BUT LOADS OF MEAT OR FISH, FRESH FRUIT SOUPS SALADS ETC AND A FALL BOTTLE OF WINE ON EVERY TABLE AT MEAL TIMES. THE ENTERTAINMENT IS ALL SPANISH SO WE WERE QUITE BORED IN THE EVE; BUT AS WE WERE OUT ALL DAY WE MADE THE MOST OF THE ROOM AND ENGLISH TV. IF WE HAD HAD KIDS IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT THO' I WILL GO BACK, AND THE HOTEL IS IN A VERY GOOD PLACE WITH ALL BENEDORM HAS TO OFFER ON YOUR DOORSTEP.

Not much to say about this hotel. We booked the hotel on an all Inclusive basis but on arrival we found that it was termed as 'ALL INCLUSIVE LIGHT', this meant that free snacks were not available at any time and there were restricted hours for both alcoholic and non- alcoholic drinks (I have written to the Tour Operator regarding this).
The food was very Spanish which we could accept, however, it was barely warm and when put on the cold plates it got cold very quickly making it impossible to complete the meal. The hotel room could have had a lot less dust about.
All in all it was O.K. but would not there again.

My friend and I have just returned from a lovely one weeks' stay at the Cabana Hotel.
We arrived in the early hours of the morning, after a flight delay, tired and travel worn. Our first impressions of the hotel was how clean and airy it was. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming and we were initially given a room on the 8th floor. We had requested a lower floor as my friend has a fear of lifts. The next day when we went to reception to explain we were moved immediately to a 2nd floor room on the poolside of the hotel.
This is a Spanish hotel but a lot of the staff spoke some English and the Reception staff were very helpful. When we reported a small problem with the shower it was sorted out within the hour.
The whole of the hotel is spotless and provides everything you could possibly need for a holiday. Clean towels and bedding was provided daily by a cheerful Spanish lady.
Although the view from the poolside of the hotel wasn't great it was nice to sit out on the balcony early in the morning and soak up the peace and quiet with a cup of tea (we took a travel kettle with us).
The hotel entertainment was geared mainly to the Spanish was but nice to listen to while getting ready for a night out at Lavante Beach. Taxis to Lavante were E8 and we never waited more than 5 minutes for one.
The pool was smaller than expected but with the weather being hot and Poniente Beach only a short walk away we only used it once.
If you like Spanish food this is the Hotel for you. If you are a fussy eater and will only like English brands you might be a bit disappointed. We went half board and I loved the Spanish food whilst my mate opted for the lovely salads and cold meats, though she loved the fish and chicken dishes.
The Old Town and Poniente Beach are only a few minutes walk from the Hotel.
Having being to Benidorm before we spent a lot of time on the beach and found a nice little cafe 'Reg's Place' which was handy for lunch - about 30yds onto Poniente Beach. They do a Sunday Lunch for about E7 with a lovely cheesecake. There are other English cafes further along the beach too.
We are both in our early 50's and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the Hotel we'd definitely would go back to the Cabana.

We have just come back from a lovely 10 day break at the Hotel Cabana which we found to be a very clean hotel.
It is situated within walking distance from the beach and in the old town part of Benidorm with quite a few residential villas surrounding it.
We had a sea view from our room on the 11th floor but lower floors/pool facing rooms may miss out on this.
Our party consisted of two adults and 4 children (so we had to book two rooms) the children are 2 teens, 10 and 8. One of ours is a wheelchair user and we had no problems with access in or around the hotel.
We had a hire car for our stay which we couldn't have done without. I would say that people with mobility problems may not be able to stay here unless they had transport as there is quite a steep road winding up to the hotel. We always managed to park along the front of the hotel but we were slightly out of main season so it may be worse at other times of the year.
The lift to the reception/pool area was a good size but the 4 that went to the rooms were on the small side. We could still fit the wheelchair in with one adult and one other child at the same time though so this was fine.
The hotel maintenance was spot on and couldn't be faulted. When we arrived there was no lock on one of our balcony doors yet within 10 minutes of alerting reception we had one drilled out and fitted...perfect.
Our room was cleaned every morning at about 11am by a very friendly cheerful lady.
This is a very Spanish hotel...but hey, it is in Spain! Many of the staff make the effort to speak to you in as much English as possible which is helpful, but the entertainment side of things wasn't really for us.
Most Brits tend to go down to town (Levante beach side) in the evenings for the shows and night life...but after a busy day doing Aqualandia/Terra Mitica/ Terra Natura or the many other brilliant attractions, a tired family might not have the get up and go to be trawling bar street every night.
The food was your typical 3 star Spanish hotel buffet. There was always something or other that appealed to everyone each day but nothing compared to the lovely Tony Roma's Ribs down on the main drag...best ribs and chicken ever!!!
The pool was clean and well kept but is a lot smaller than the photos make it look (very clever photography) and we always managed to get sun beds as the staff remove any towels that are left without owners for too long.
If you want a decent hotel that is just out of the way of the night life and noise, but near enough to easily visit it then I would say give this one a go.

The hotel is spotless, the location is good ,just a short walk to centre and bars and shops. The meals are good there is a good selection every night the breakfast lets it down a bit but I am quite fussy with my breakfast! Only one snag with this hotel it caters for Spanish it was not a problem for us but if you like night entertaining it all for the Spanish . Overall I give this hotel 9/10
