Myself and two friends stayed here as an allocated on arrival holiday in September 2004. The hotel only opened in the summer of 2004 and we were thoroughly pleased with every aspect of it.
Albir is a very small, quiet place-ideal if you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle. The hotel is situated on a hill but is only about five minutes walk from a pebbled beach. We were about the youngest people there and found this ideal, but some of the older guests found this a problem. There is a bus service (again five minutes walk down the hill) frequently to Benidorm and this only costs 85cents. A taxi to return to the hotel if you have had a night out is around 8euro.
The views from the hotel are stunning and the roof of the hotel is especially set aside as a viewing area over the bay and the mountains. The rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh towels left in the bathroom. A fridge and free safety deposit box are supplied in each room.
The food was excellent for our whole week. There was lots of choice and the service was good too. However many people did complain about the food-we could not understand why. Alfas beach boasts an indoor and outdoor pool, indoor Jacuzzi and a gym-all of which were maintained to a very high standard. We had an excellent holiday in Albir and would thoroughly recommend it.

Hotel was nice newly opened, lovely swimming pool, nice big rooms, found the cleanliness lacking first day we arrived I wiped drawers out they had not been cleaned loads crumbs in from previous occupant, food was good reception very helpful, staff in dining room good, bar staff were slow to say the least and made loads of mistakes, Albir itself very nice but hotel was situated would be bad for elderly or anyone walking difficulties found some people never got to leave the hotel. Entertainment really poor singers that needed singing lessons same singers all the time. Hotel really needs to look at what holiday makers want

One of our best holidays for along time. We will be returning to this hotel in the near future. What can I say superb rooms brilliant cleaners. I cannot remember any other hotel that cleans and changes all towels every day like this one. Food was 9 out of 10 what more can I say. Hotel is 5 mins walk up a hill but when you see the view over Albir bay my wife said its like some thing out of a James Bond movie .Good luck to anybody if you go.
