This was our first holiday to Kos & our friends recomended the Posieidon Hotel. It was Fantastic, Kos was a lovely friendly place, but the hotel made it for us, thank you to Ange, Tula, Penny & of course Yani the Hotel Owner who not only made our stay comfortable but treated us like one of the family, no wonderthey have so many returning guests.
We have stayed in many hotels in many counties over the years but none as fun as the Poseiden Hotel. We are all hoping to return next Year.

Returned home last week, my children and i had a fantastic two weeks, The Kappas family are amazing and couldn't have done anymore to accommadate us, the kids loved the pool and food bar, the hotel is ideally situated, close to the town and harbour. The island is friendly and has lots to do if you want to. The mezzaluna restaurant on the front is delicious and gained me 9lb! Will definately return hopefully for longer next time.

We stayed in poseidon for 1 week.Before we left we checked out reviews, and to the people who complain about this hotel all i can say is I wouldn't like to live your life ,you must go about finding fault in everything you do instead of enjoying your holiday .We found this hotel really friendly,clean and fault free nothing was too much trouble for the owners and the staff our grandson enjoyed himself so much he didn't want to leave ,as we were on first name terms with everyone in the hotel it made it feel like a home from home only better weather .

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the facilities of the hotel. Although we were far away from our preferred beach, the staff were vey good at dealing with any issues we raised. The complex is very well run and they are very good at dealing with their customers. A very good base for seeing what is is a beautiful island.
We. would have no hesitation in going back.

Myself and two friends visited Kos for the first time in 2009, we arrived in the early hours of the morning and were shown to our rooms. Very basic but clean and the air conditioning was working! The next morning we were introduced to Ange and his wife Toula, they are an exceptional couple, they really make you feel at ease and nothing is too much bother for them, by the end of the holiday, Ange was joking with us and saying he would adopt us all! We have since returned another few times, one being on my birthday, again they were amazing, they even bought me a cake (it was gorgeous) and sang happy birthday to me, we have grown very fond of Kos Town & everyone at the poseidon hotel, the only fault i would have is that our rep was never there, and when they were, they were no use at all!
We were self catering but there are plenty of places to eat which is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. I highly recommend Tony's italian which is on the main road facing onto the sea, next to a wee pub called the yaught - very friendly people who work in there aswell. Overall the holiday was excellent and Ange, Toula & everyone at the poseidon are excellent hosts! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone ;)
