The hotel is beautiful, the food and service is excellent. The hotel boasts one of the most appropriate atmosphere's of any hotel I have visited in Austria. Be wary of charges.
The night before our departure we were presented with a considerable bill. The management and owners were forceful to the point of rude in an attempt to extract monies from us. I have come across this scam before but in less well run establishments. Be aware that under circumstances of clarification/negotiation suddenly no-one speaks English? Bar bills are best paid when ordering.
Read the price section of all menu's and the wine list including asterix references. Don't play the piano or touch it!
