Hotel Sokullu Pasa, having a typical 16th century dwellings in its periphery is at a short distance to the Centrum coastal road and the seas which could be reached with in few minutes walk. It is a fine example of an historic Ottoman house and features modern facilities and excellent service. All 37 guestrooms are decorated in old Ottoman Style, but also equipped with the latest technology to provide one with full comfort during ones stay. The restaurant at the hotel serves its guests with European and Turkish cuisines.

The first obstacle you have to confront is to find this hotel. From the Easyjet arrival airport, Sabiha Gokcen, we took the E3 bus to its Istanbul terminal for 1.3TKL (about 60p) and then a taxi to the hotel. However the driver, like all the others we... read more
