Small ottoman style house set in walking distance of all the main attractions; staff are friendly and go out of their way to make your stay special. They recommended everything from a great cake shop to where to buy linens and towels (nisantasa). Breakfast was informal and fun, dinner was exotic with the added live music to make the evening memorable. Room service was extremely attentive even when we asked for yet another round of drinks, minutes after our dear waiter had bought the first lot. I will return there again next year, same time, same room. Hopefully they will have employed a stronger porter - the gentle little man nearly broke his back lifting my bargain stuffed suitcase. If you don’t want to buy great leather, gold jewellery, jeans etc don’t go there...........if you don’t want culture, old fashioned elegance and nostalgia...stay home. You have been warned.
