Antik Hotel is located in the old city center of Istanbul, one of the magnificent cities in the world. The hotel's structure is built on a 1500 year old cistern, which forms the root of the hotel since ancient time. One can experience four different civilizations the Roman, Byzantion, Ottoman and the Turkish Republic cultures, which have united and gave the city a vivid spirit. All the 96 rooms are furnished in warm, natural tones and complemented by well-appointed decor and facilities. Served with Turkish, Ottoman and international cuisine on the terrace one can have a unique view of Istanbul and the Marmara Sea. The ancient ruins of the Roman period are reformed into a nightclub.

Antik hotel is a very average hotel down a back alley. Unfortunately it's the staff that let it down completely. It may as well be self service as they are not interested in even calling a taxi for you. I wouldn't bother staying there, there's so many... read more
