Fab hotel!
from JR_GT
We were dreading our stay at this hotel having read some of the reviews and nearly changed our whole trip - SO pleased we didn't! We stayed at this hotel for a whole 2 weeks and wouldn't have changed a thing! The room was huge and kept immaculately clean with lovely big fluffy towels; very efficient air-conditioning and incredible views, we had a room on the 11th floor. The hotel staff were polite, friendly and helpful at all times and generally spoke impeccable english but I do believe that if you prepare yourself with a little...

I felt conned
from yusuf41
the pictures on the website are nothing like the dump that this place really is. I was conned into paying 4 star prices for this horrible place. Foul smelling hotel corridors, dirty linen in rooms, terrible room service, poor parking facilities. There is always a long, long wait to speak with the one recptionist on duty, and he/she is always in a hurry to get on. Good luck if you need a porter. Enjoy the slapdash breakfast. Oh yes, I forgot that you have to pay extra to use the safe in the room ! Avoid this one like the plague. Granada is a...

Altight for a few nights, if a little old
from Dublin_Globetrotter
We got a good deal on this hotel in Granada during January '07. We paid Eur 60 per night for family including 9 month old baby. The hotel is reasonably central and you can walk to any of Granada's attractions. It's a little dated, but the room was fine. Our only complaint was that they seemed to have racked up the heating and we couldn't get the room cool at night. We also asked for a kettle which they couldn't provide. We needed it for our 9 month old for sterilising bottles and making formula. They were very helpful in the bar...

Not Bad
from simonfw
Stayed for 3 nights from 20th October. The location was very good for us as we had tickets to see Bruce Springsteen at the Plaza de Toros, & the hotel is only a 5 minute walk away. Good Points: location, the centre is also a comfortable 15 min walk; Granada itself: so much to see & do; view from the bedroom window Neutral Points: breakfast only ok & not good value @ €11; major roadworks on the Avenida de la Constitucion although we were not disturbed by any noise Bad Points: thin bedroom walls; room decor now a bit tired<br...

Excellent stay
from sw18london
I recently stayed 3 nights. The hotel is located 10min walk from the old town and around 40 min walk from Alhambra. The hotel looks horrible from outside but the interior is far much better and been refurbished recently. Our car was parked by the valet on arrival. The reception staff were professional and speak a good english. Our room was on the 14th floor (the hotel is located on the top floors of the building), so we had a great view over Granada. The room has a very large window, so it is very bright. The room...

Excellent value & friendly staff
from Old Rambler
We stayed at VIncci Granada in 3 double rooms on June 28th 2006. Rooms spacious and clean, no noise, comfortable beds, deep bathtubs. Excellent value - the total cost of the 3 double rooms was less than the cost of one double room in Amsterdam - and the rooms in the Vincci were more spacious and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Renting the room safe only cost 2 Euro per day. Wonderful views from the bedrooms and the hotel carpark was very convenient....

OK by us
from wanga
I booked two double rooms and to be honest was a little bit concerned after reading some of the other comments but I was pleasantly surprised. Our rooms were spacious, very clean and in addition to the double beds we had two armchairs, coffee table etc. There was nothing wrong with this hotel in regards to our stay. No smell, the staff were friendly and although there were road works on the main road we could not hear them in our room. The hotel is a wee bit of a walk from the Alhambra but you can get the bus just down the road for a...

Do your research, and stay here if you know what you're getting
from tangek
My husband and I stayed at the Vincci Granada for 2 days / 1 night as a side trip from Sevilla. The location is convenient to the train station, as it's a 5-10 minute walk (depending on your pace). However, the walk from the hotel to the historic district (cathedral, Plaza Bueva, Alhambra) is a bit longer (at least 15-20 min) but doable if you are a good walker. Otherwise, grab a cab. We were surprised that this hotel has a lobby at ground level, but the rooms are above an adjoining apartment building. Despite being non-smoking, our...

For the price acceptable otherwise not worth it
from AlamTravel
It is a good deal for the price paid and the quality of the room. We paid about 60 Euros. The odor was foul on the 14th floor. It was better on the 12th. We had to change rooms as the room on the 14th was a smoker's room. The view from the room was great but then again the view of the Siera Nevada is not much to talk about in a 34 C month of May. The rooms are average, typical of what I expect in Europe for a 3* hotel. Functional is the word. Parking is available next door for 14 Euros every 24 hours so that you can...

2* hotel really, not 4*
from beverly197
If you are taken in by the 4-star rating, you will be TERRIBLY disappointed! At best, our room was 2* and the bathroom was 3*. There was nothing 4* about this place. Our tiny room didn't smell, but there were water-mark stains from the shower on the otherside of the wall. (We had booked a queen-size bed and got 2 very small singles.) How anyone could have based their holiday here is beyond me! This is good value only if you are used to staying in very cheap hotels. It is not centrally located and not at all convientent for the...
