The description and the pictures of this hotel may look nice, but there are drawbacks to this hotel.
Firstly, it’s situated near a junction of the ring road, which makes it ideal if you have transport, but there’s nothing in the immediate area, so you could find yourself spending a lot on taxis.
Secondly, while the grounds are beautiful, there was a definite shortage of sun loungers around the pool. Having said that, it’s quiet and peaceful as the building surrounds the pool, and it’s set well back from the road.
The biggest problem though, was the room. We had a twin room but it wasn’t all that large. The furniture would’ve been out of date in the 1970s. There was AC, but it was absolutely hopeless and was switched off through the night. The small TV hung at a crazy angle and was perched in the top corner of the room - it would have been almost impossible to watch (if the reception had been any good). The fridge was only slightly cooler than the room, and the room itself, while clean enough, was very much in need of decoration.
The rooms are accessed by a walkway witch means that other guests walk right past your window so there’s no privacy.
On the plus side, the bar and restaurant are good and quite busy. Also, if you have transport, it’s a good base from which to tour the area.
We paid 60 euros room only in June (which is a good price) but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
