Navas Hotel, Granada

Navas Hotel Holiday Reviews
The Navas Hotel is situated on the street of the same name, a typical pedestrian road of the centre of Granada. Nearby are the Plaza Del Carmen - where the Town Hall is located; and Plaza De Bib-Rambla, the heart of Granada, which is also an area where most prestigious shops of the town are. Forming a kind of 'antechamber' of monuments nearby are the Cathedral, the Capilla Real (Royal Chapel), the Church Iglesia Del Sagrario, la Madraza (antique Arabic University). The Al Caiceria, an enchanting zone of small streets which used to house the silk markets and where today the many craft shops are located, is also nearby.

Hotel Palacio de Los Navas is an excellent hotel to explore the delights of Granada from. The boutique style hotel is beautifully decorated and the breakfasts are amazing.

The rooms and bathrooms are immaculate. Due to the smallness of the hotel about 17 rooms there is no restaurant for the evening or bar, but there is so much choice in Granada and all a short walk away that it does not matter.

The hotel is probably not suitable for families, but is perfect for couples without children.

The only one down side is that the street is quite noisy at the weekend.

Positives first! Nice clean hotel. Rooms are a good size (for two or three people) Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is right in the centre so shops, tapas bars, restaurants, cathedral and Plaza Nueva are all nearby.

Negatives! Depending on season the area can be noisy until about 1 am (also depending if your room is at the front of the hotel) as there are a few tapas bars next to it.

The bin men come about 3-4 am! But hey at least they clean it all up!

Must also say that I have stayed at the Navas about 6 times so the positives outweigh the negatives in the end for me. Take earplugs and you won't go wrong!
