Excellent accommodation, the rooms have a television, fridge and air conditioning. Breakfast is nothing special. There is a good swimming pool here, a piano bar and a restaurant if you cannot be bothered to venture out in the evenings.
We thought it was upmarket for Greece but then it was rather more expensive than we would have liked. The Dolphin Bay Hotel is about a 15 minute stroll to the lovely sandy beach which is uncrowded. Syros is reached by ferry from Mykonas and is a place to holiday and it is unspoilt and retains its traditional ambiance.
Some beautiful secluded coves if you are a little adventurous but it was all about a lazy chill out break.
