The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was typical continental with plenty of fruit. Take your own T bags.
Ideal for the metro (200 yards) which was a short journey to the city centre.
Budapest was a great short break. The restaurants and bars were friendly. The only place we got ripped off was the British pub (The John Bull) we were talked into having soup, which was not on the menu then charged the equivalent of £6 for a bowl of fish soup that must have been made with seawater. Also the Guinness was warm.
Other than that all four of us had a great 5 days.
