Ibis Aero Hotel Reviews
" We visited the hotel in July 2004 for... "

We visited the hotel in July 2004 for 2-nights. The hotel is deceptive from the exterior as it was in need of a lick of paint when we visited, but we assume that it may have been done by now.
The interior was modern and spotlessly clean in all areas following a recent refurbishment. We had a large double en-suite room with all the facilities we required together with a clean, spacious bathroom. We had a balcony overlooking the hustle & bustle and amazingly the room was very quiet. The public areas offer a bar, restaurant and a business room where the Internet is available for a small charge. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable price and consisted of a hot and cold buffet, which was very nice. Evening meals and barbecue evenings were advertised but we didn’t have time to try them out.
The location of the hotel was fantastic, as there is a metro and tram station opposite, where a ten minute metro ride took us into Budapest centre. There is also a fabulous shopping mall, several fast food outlets and a sunken bar within skipping distance of the hotel.
Budapest in general is a fantastic city, there is so much to see and do. We would definitely recommend the city boat tour that visits Margaret Island and also the laser show at the Planetarium. As a Vegetarian, I would also recommend the Govinda Vegetarian restaurant.
In all, this is a brilliant hotel, which exceeds all expectations, we could not fault a thing! It also provided us with a great base to explore the city. We only wish we had stayed longer but we will be returning very soon.

The hotel offers a great cold buffet breakfast and we also dined in the restaurant on a couple of evenings, the food is very good and the hotel also have BBQ evenings in the summer for a set price.
Facilities are good and there are English speaking staff, who are happy to help I would highly recommend the Ibis Aero and Budapest for a great city break.
