Has got to be the best hotel in Europe. Not the place for the less sedate amongst us but they offer fabulous service and accommodation. The restaurant, while not cheap, is absolutely superb and if, like us, you are only on a short break I would recommend you try it at least once. We have eaten there every night on the eight nights in total we have stayed there. Breakfast is unlimited buffet and has an unbelievable selection. They even have bottles of (Hungarian) champagne to self pour with your real freshly squeezed orange juice to make a Buck’s Fizz. It is a well positioned hotel for sight seeing being a direct shortish walk down Erzebet Korut (Elizabeth Road) to Margaret Island and the Erzebet Bridge which leads to the magnificent Buda side of Budapest with Fishermans Wharf and a Funicular for those of you who don’t fancy the climb. We will definitely return for more.
