Hotel Zenit Sevilla

Positive: On edge of Triana District with it’s typical restaurants (O’Tapas Albahaca 300m-degustaria menu excellent value–6 dishes, 5 drinks, for 20Eu, and amble back to hotel) and tapas bars hidden away in the maze of small streets (the excellent old Siglo XVIII behind St Ana Church with English translation of menu). Breakfast at hotel is good (till 11am if you've had a late night) and so can set you up for a full day’s sightseeing with no long meal breaks needed! We stayed in Zenit for two nights in Dec last year. The staff were friendly and prompt, refused tips when offered. We were impressed. The rooms were nicely done up but we found the location a little further away from the attractions than we expected. There is however a convenient public bus service which stops close to the hotel that crosses the bridge to the attractions.

The Hotel Zenit was superb and in the "best part of Seville" according to our taxi driver. Our room was more like a suite and was very modern with wooden floors and was absolutely spotless. Only negative was that the room was too warm as the aircon was switched off. The staff were excellent and the recommendations listed in reviews on tripadvisor were spot-on. We'll definitely return.

We stayed here for two nights. The room was a nice size and very clean. Great location as it is a 10 minute walk to the many of the attractions and restaurants. Staff was helpful although their English was not the best. Luckly, my husband has a basic knowledge of Spanish which helped. To all who travel in Spain, most of the staff in the hotels and resturants speak English but many of the taxi drivers and shop owners do not.
