Regina Hotel

Stayed here for three nights this summer. Thought it was a great little hotel, didn't find it as noisy as some others seem to, but did find it a little far from the centre of town (while certainly walkable, its too far to pop back for an hours rest). Clean and tidy, with friendly and helpful staff, generally very good.

A very nice hotel - staff spoke English well and were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were decent - clean, fresh. But I did find the location of the hotel a bit far from the main tourist sights. It was about a 10-15 minutes walk to the main shopping area and a bit more than that to the catherdral area.

Rooms were clean, small and noisy. I agree with other reivews that you can hear people in the lobby from several floors up due to the open lobby concept and paper thin walls. But this is a common problem with hotels in this price range. But the room is clean and the staff was helpful. It is a bit of a hike to tourist locations but we enjoyed getting lost in the tangled neighborhoods of old Seville. Rooms have cable with CNN in English.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel at the end of a 3 week trip to Andalusia. The room was fine but very small. I would not recommend this hotel because of the location. It is at least a 15 minute walk to any area of interest and there are virtually no services nearby, in particular no restaurants or shops.

We spent three sleepless nights at the Regina Hotel. It is extremely noisy all night long; you can hear people as the enter and exit the lobby, take the elevator, and may be awakened by the maid service as they clean nearby rooms in the morning. You may also be awakened in the mornings as staff prepares an overpriced buffet-style breakfast. The neighborhood is sketchy, at best, and is not near any of the sights.
