Novotel Sevilla

Well with Novotel you know what to expect. So no surpise at all. The location is not that bad (around 25min walk from old town) but yes it is next to a stadium and can be noisy when they play a match. Shopping mall and department store are at the doorstep too and it is 10 min walk from the rail station. Overall this hotel is very modern, and in good state. Decent comfortable room. Walkable to the city centre attractions (Cathedral etc.), but we preferred to take a taxi in one direction each day. Nice swimming pool. Beware of having a room facing the football stadium when Seville are playing (especially if they beat Barcelona!) - rowdy fans until 4am. Breakfast room a bit industrial, but plently of reasonable quality food. No kettle in room. Would happily return here.

Visited Seville for a week-end and stayed at the Novotel. It is easy to find if driving (just head for the train station) and had a secure underground carpark (nb this is an additional charge of 16 EUROS per day). It is also next to the football stadium and a shopping centre. The hotel was modern, clean and our room was great: good size with a fab bathroom.
