Stayed here 2nd to the 9th of may 08 . Appartments were spotless and all the surrounding areas the same. The appartments were located in the quiet area of sidai which was nice but you will struggle to find the true greece as it is truelly geared for the british which i find sad. There was only 1 place THE FAMILY resturant that did authentic food. We booked our stay at Socrates apartments after reading various on-line reviews Everybody who had written a review said that they couldn't fault the service, welcome and general quality of their choice. On this basis we hunted down somewhere to book these apartments through - not easy! You can book through Eclipse, or through First Choice high street agents, but will struggle to find it in every brochure as per some places. Lovely apartments, nice and clean. The rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed. Really nice pool where you can sunbathe whilst gazing at the sea. Excellent entertainment at the 'Greek Night' - highly recommended. Delicious food which is reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Would definitely recommend this place.

Just come back from a week at the Socrates Hotel and Apartments in Sidari, Corfu. Booked last minute and wasn't sure what to expect but we were very pleasantly surprised. These apartments were in a great location off the main road but only five minutes walking distance from the main resort centre, so there was no problem with noise or disruption.
