Hotel Husa Los Seises

After believing we had booked a 4 star small hotel and expecting the comforts of such, we were very disappointed. Arriving friday for a long weekend to find there was a wedding reception booked so no restaurant facilities were available. We had no hot water which was rectified after about an hour by a helpful maintainance guy after bleeding orange water from the system. When we arrived at the Hotel we received a rather lazy reception. The common areas are run down (hallway runners were stained and filthy), a bartender was never to be seen in the bar which was full of dirty ash trays and glasses, the pool area with its great view could have been a been a real plus but that too was run down, dead plants, furniture dirty and stacked in piles around the rooftop. All spells bad management. Only redeemeing fact was that the location was great.

Breakfast is most often included in the price of the room on European hotels, but this is not the case at los seises. Notice that they charge 15 Euros for breakfast even for very small children. Even though it's supposed to be a 4-star hotel they have beds that are suited for a 1 star hotel. The beds are old and with some plastic covers under the sheets. Uncomfortable. Check the bill carefully when you leave, they doubled charged us, but the problems were quickly solved after a few minutes discussions.
