What a wonderful surprise it was to arrive at Bali Yarravillas! Clean, quiet just off the main drag of Seminyak, yet close enough to everything one could need, restaurants, shopping , the beach.... Great friendly staff who are helpful and courteous. The rooms are immaculately cleaned each day, the pool is fantastic for a cooling dip, the ambience of the villa's is relaxing and peaceful. Bali Yarravillas was the last of the hotels we stayed in before heading back to Australia, and it really capped off a great all round trip to Bali. Rooms were exceptional, staff were very attentive, its in a great location and was by far the best value hotel we stayed in. It had a modern Australian feel which was a welcomed relief from the organised hustle and bustle we'd experienced over the days before.

If you're looking for the often sought after Bali accomodation with large tropical gardens and individual indoor/outdoor living areas, then this may not be the best choice........ What you will find is a relatively new property which is reasonably priced and offers all the comforts you need for a relaxing peaceful stay. We spent 10 days here in February, 2010. Its brand new and has all the latest mod cons (LCD tellys, iPOD docks, WiFi). The villa we stayed in had 2 bedrooms (each with outdoor bathroom/shower areas), an open plan lounge/kitchen area (really well equipped) with lots of natural light and large doors that open onto the decking and pool area. We stayed at Yarravillas over the busy lead up to New Years. Tucked down the gang next to Bintang Supermarket the Villa Aptments are a hidden gem. You are away from the hustle and bustle and can enjoy the peace a quiet of your very plesant suurounds.Yet only a couple of minutes walk you are in amongst the great shopping and dining options of Seminyak. This was our fourth trip to Bali we have always stayed in Villas in our past 3 trips. The complex was very relaxing great swimming pool. The one bedroom apartment we stayed in had plenty of light & was kept spotless everyday. The outdoor shower was refreshing. Always a cold beer in the mini bar and topped up as required The staff are friendly and cater for all your needs. The resort location is handy to Bintang supermarket, ATM's, good food restaraunts, quality shops and a pretty good tattoo studio. The owners John and Gloria are the perfect hosts, (even tho they hail from Victoria) there was no request that was too hard. The Staff are very friendly and live up to the high expectations of the owners. We had 2 couples with 3 young kids stay in the 2 bedroom villa which was very comfortable and suitable for our needs like cooking facilities, 2 x ensuites and flat screen tv's in each room and lounge.... more

I stayed here for 5 nights, in the hotel style room above the office. They also have some apartments which looked very nice, and very self contained. The room was well kitted out, more than enough space and absolutely spotless. The room always smelt fresh and clean. The villa area is very quiet and peaceful, I was never disturbed by noise.
