Calangute Grande

we stayed in Calangute Grande hotel in goa for 2 days. The hotel is moderately priced , but the location is very very good (just near the Calangute Beach). A lot of water sports are available near by. The hotel staff is helpful. The hotel has only basic amneties, but these are OK considering this is a budget hotel. This would have to be the best place we have stayed in in India. We have been here 3 weeks have stayed in Mumbai, Delhi and hotels in Rajestan then arriving in Goa we happened to walk into the Calangute Grande and what a pleasant surprise. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff,k they are all friendly, polite and proffessional and will go out of their way to help you with anything. The manager Savio is lovely and has the best staff.
