Hotel Tulip House

We stayed in Istanbul for about a week around Easter 2009. Learned about this new hotel when we asked for a room in Tulip Guest House (http://www.tulipguesthouse.com/) which is in the hand of the same owner. He recommended to stay in his new place and we didn't regret our decision to do so! There seem to be some more hotels in Istanbul which have "tulip" in their name, so be careful not to end up in the wrong one. The whole place is newly renovated, rooms are clean and newly furnished. My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The room was very spacious, clean and very new and the staff was very friendly. The only draw backs was that there was construction the house beside the hotel so it was noisy and we could feel the wall vibrate when there was construction. i don't believe that the construction was the fault of the hotels but the other draw back was that we had a room close to the stair case and the door wasn't very sound proof so you can hear other gusts coming in and out of building int he middle of the night.
