My husband, our 16 year old daughter and I have just returned from an unforgettable week at Guardastelle, just outside of San Gimignano. We had a beautiful little house overlooking the vineyards and the lovely swimming pool. The house immediately became our "home". Susanna and Fausto made us feel more like family than clients - they are such a lovely couple. This is a very special place and I can't recommend it highly enough. We enjoyed 5 nights at Guardastelle in June 2009 staying in a beautiful room with french doors opening onto its own terrace overlooking the vineyards and olive trees. The grounds are beautiful and immaculate; the setting is magical with 360 degree views. Breakfast is served (weather permitting) on a terrace with a perfect view of the towers of San Gimignano.
